"How dare does he even spurt those words out of his fucking mouth?!" Soobin's nostrils flared as he looked away from the weeping male in his arms, looking up at the bright sky, sets of his teeth relentlessly gritted against each other making his jaw throb, "I'm going to fucking fuck him up, I swear!"
"Binnie…" Yeonjun called, his voice contrary to Soobin's hard and gruff voice, his voice was softer, almost a whimper— or something along that line as he grabbed the younger's jaw with his trembling fingers making him look right into his own eyes.
"I'll make sure that he bleeds—"
"Shh, don't talk like that. It's completely fine." Yeonjun smiled, pushing Soobin's dark hair away from his eyes, fingers trailing all over the other's face trying to smoothen all the lines of frown, while he noticed the other was thinking something.
There was this vague flash in his eyes, Yeonjun thought he'd be joking if he didn't categorize it as hurt and anger, maybe both thrown into a mix. Whatever it was... it was raw, like Soobin was hardly trying to cope up with his feelings and everything made Yeonjun confused.
"What is going on in your mind, Soobin?" He asked, he smiled seeing the slight display of shock on the other's face; he chuckled, the younger male can never hide his feelings away from him.
Oh, but how wrong Yeonjun was. He actually missed the way Soobin's eyes hollowed every time he saw him and Ji-sul together when they were boyfriends, he failed to notice how rigid Soobin was, he failed to notice how Soobin didn't even look his way when he told the other about his first kiss with Ji-sul, he failed—
No, maybe he didn't fail.
He just didn't know.
He doesn't know.
And that's the problem, that's why Soobin is living with a empty broken heart which somehow every-fucking-time doesn't forget to stutter a beat when Yeonjun comes a little closer.
But what would have even happened if Yeonjun knew? Would they be together? Would they be lovers? Would Yeonjun love him?
Keeping those thoughts away felt a better option to Soobin, he licked over his lips deciding that he'd probably overthink about these questions later in the night also he has that kiss in the morning where he acted stupidly bold is still on his list.
Ugh! So many things to think about.
Currently Yeonjun's smile made his own lips twitch, but in a doleful way.
"You still love him just the same don't you?" He asked, he saw Yeonjun's smile dropping and being honest, his heart dropped too, "Even after all this even after whatever he said to you, you still love him." These words weren't a question, he didn't ask, he stated.
Because he knows.
A pitiful laugh left Yeonjun as he curled himself in Soobin's embrace, head resting over the other's shoulder looking at their legs that were entangled together, "You know me too well." He said, there was no point in denying anymore either way.
He pathetically even, was still in love with Ji-sul, he was so much of an idiot that he even considered that if Ji-sul apologizes he'd go back to him with no self-respect.
Fuck the way love makes a person this vulnerable.
He is never again doing this love shit again.
"Hyung, honestly have a talk with him." Soobin sighed, he thought he'd be already tired of being the cupid matchmaker for the one he loves, yet again he says, "Maybe the kiss in the morning pulled out this reaction from him? Maybe he got jealous and now wanted to hurt you because it hurt him?" He laid out all his maybes he had in mind.
