Never in his whole life Soobin thought that he'd end up like this, but it all seemed reality now.
Him laying on the hospital bed, beeps of those various machines, those tube stuck through his skin, the oxygen mask on his nose- because he had broken his nose to a point that he had breathing problems through his nostrils normally- that dying ache he felt through all of his body because he hadn't yet took his pain killers.
From all the distinct voices he heard, he moved his swollen watery bloodshot eyes- knowing that he probably has two black eyes that would be rimming around his eye balls- he saw Taehyung crying his heart out while clinging on to his husband for his dear life.
His father stood at a distance hands folded across the chest, he looked worried with the lines of stress that formed his forehead, his mother was sitting right on the bed besides him holding his hand, his friends huddled on the floor in the corner on the room trying to calm down each other whereas Yeonjun and Hueningkai wailing.
"I- I am not dead you know?" He croaked out, words probably muffled but he faced a sharp swat over his arm, making him groan because it fucking hurt and he felt like dying was a better option.
Mothers never let go of their ethics, "Shut up, don't talk and take rest." She hissed and Soobin was in half mind to argue about why he needed to be hit before knowing this.
"Who did this to you-?"
"Not now, Jungkook."
Soobin turned his head towards his father who was in the midst of giving Jungkook a firm look making Jungkook to gulp down his words and Taehyung looking up with the deepest pout before burying his face back into Jungkook's neck.
"You better kick that person's ass Jungkook. Yo-you better use all your skills to knock whoever that bitch is to hell or I swear w-we are divorcing." Taehyung grumbled, voice muffled, little snivels taking their places between his broken words and Soobin saw the way Jungkook clenched and unclenched his fist.
He was very sure his cousin knew who had him laying on the hospital bed but was just waiting for a confirmation before he storms off to actually show Ji-sul how hell on earth feels like.
But, he really didn't want his brother to interfere, "No need I will handle that motherfucker, let me just get better-"
Again he was rewarded with a sharp swat on his upper arm making him groan louder than before, he looked at his mother glaring down at him.
"Language." She chided before leaning down to peck his forehead.
"I'm literally hurt he-here and all yo-you care about is language, eomma?" Soobin grunted, eyes fluttering close as his mother continued to stroke his hair, her nibble fingers pressing down on his scalp.
"Don't talk back." She hissed completely contrary to her soft actions.
Typical asian parents.
"Binnie..." Yeonjun called out standing up from where he was huddled, walking up to the bed with shaky steps and walking round the bed before settling on the other side of it opposite to the lady.
"Remember not to call me that." Soobin rolled his eyes but immediately regretted it because he felt dizzy.
"So-sorry." Yeonjun brought his knuckles near his nose, to wipe off his running nose with his sweater paws ignoring the way Soobin's mother grimaced at him, but later the lady passed him tissues that she always kept with herself to him instructing him to blow his nose.
"You both already got into a fight?" Taehyung questioned, his red rimmed eyes glancing between Soobin and Yeonjun.
"Is that what you are concerned about?" Soobin groaned, actually wanting nothing but to divert the topic, repressing his urge to sigh when Yeonjun took his hand in his own.
