This semester's exams were nearing and unsurprisingly Soobin was panicking, a lot of panic, to a point that Yeonjun even refused to talk to him because all the world's weight and stress was suddenly on Soobin and he'd become a very difficult person to be around with.

Not one conversation Soobin happened without him turning it into an argument.

"I really don't get why you are so stressed Binnie—?"

"If Ji-sul didn't beat me to shit and a whole month wasn't spent on me recovering, I probably wouldn't be stressed! Anything else?"

"No… I'm at Taehyun's if you need anything. Bye."

"Just let me study. Go away. Half of my economics and management theory is yet to learn. God, I'm going to fail. Appa is going to be disappointed and I'm going to jump off a twelve storey building. Bye."

That's exactly how his last conversation with his boyfriend was and this happened two days ago.

They didn't even see each other other than the times they'd just get out of their room coincidentally at the same time but then prefer to blatantly ignore each other.

And the exams were just a week away, Soobin was losing his shit eyes brimmed with tears as he stared at his accounting balance sheet witnessing it didn't tally, again, and the thought alone made him feel worthless, shame he couldn't wail in the corner of the library.

"Oh, hey Soobin."

He looked up, he didn't care how messed up he was with his hair all over the place, he was sure of it sticking out in random directions, eyes having deep eye bags, with his glasses perched up on his nose, lips surely bleeding because he bit off too much dry skin of it even his inner cheek was bleeding and he did register that metallic taste on his tongue.

"Yeah, Chaeyoung?" He finally said, voice sounded hoarse. Oh, yeah he needed water to drink, he hasn't even gulped a single sip since last night so he just reached out for his still very filled water bottle and took a few continuous swigs witnessing Chaeyoung sit beside him.

"You didn't depreciate this correctly, five percent depreciation on the stock costing fifty thousand should be two thousand five hundred and not five thousand, you depreciated ten percent." Chaeyoung vaguely commented, setting her own books down. "I was here to ask my own doubts but you seem to be struggling yourself."

Soobin rechecked, the urge to toss his book away and see it fly was very tempting and then it'll follow by him screaming and crying over his mistake that he never usually made. "It's literally a mistake of calculation because of lack of attention," he somehow still decided to protect his pride, "don't just decide yourself that I'm struggling."

"Oh." Chaeyoung stared at him for some seconds, still finding him as handsome as she always has, but downright forced the thought down. Soobin has a boyfriend. She is not going to be that cheap personality to tear two people apart. "So your exam period mood swings are here, huh?" She chuckled while opening her books, flipping them until she found the correct page; she had solved the exact question, then brought Soobin's book near. Using her pen she marked all the mistakes Soobin made. The posting was absolutely perfect and the raven head just made silly mistakes with calculations.

"Just ask what you want to," Soobin snatched his book back, his heart racing with the growing amount of circles around and cringing at his own very basic mistakes, "I'll apologize for my shitty behavior after the exams end right now I'm mentally in no mood."

Chaeyoung waved it off, a little giggle slipping her lips notifying she took no offense. "How many people do you own this apology ticket?" She settled her elbows on the bench seeing Soobin take her book eventually and re-analyse his question circling out the mistakes.
