"I really can't believe that Yeonjun actually told you to zip your lips about Ji-sul…"
Soobin sighed probably for the nth time as he laid on the couch, still winching, laying his head on Jungkook's thigh looking up at his brother who had dropped by to check up on him.
"Even if he didn't say it, I wouldn't do it either way…" Soobin trailed off, fiddling with his phone in his hands, "but still it did hurt when he said that."
"Exactly that's my point Bin, he said that! He fucking— oh God!" Jungkook groaned, pinching his eyebrows taking deep breaths, he widened his eyes looking down at the younger. "Wait what did you say? You wouldn't report that fucker? And why?"
Scoffing Soobin, looked his reflection on his blank phonescreen, "I will make that fucker regret his life myself, he'd get away from police with the power his father holds anyways, right?"
"Right." Jungkook hummed, having no other words to say— and to say the least he still didn't expect Yeonjun to be this biased towards his shitty excuse of an ex-boyfriend.
"Don't worry hyung." Soobin chuckled, "I'll teach that piece of shit a good lesson, just let me fucking heal from all this bullshit."
"But why didn't you at least try to protect yourself?"
"Let's…" Soobin paused, licking over his lips, "let's just not talk about it."
Jungkook had nothing to say except humming and then finally bidding his goodbyes with Soobin with a promise of coming to see him tomorrow along with Taehyung.
And after that, Soobin was just left with silence, staring at the ceiling fan spinning eyes and heart holding nothing but void at the moment.
Recalling the way Yeonjun had told him not to take Ji-sul's name just a night before he was questioned by the police officers because it was the compulsion for hospital officials to report such a case over how brutally Soobin was beaten up.
The doctors informed that Soobin was serious at one point and close to death if he didn't get medical help in time even when it was already too late to be admitted— it was later said that Soobin was stronger than he seems.
Ji-sul probably didn't stop after he passed out even he assumed, because he doesn't exactly remember how the hell his right wrist got hurt to a point that it twisted and he had to use a cast over it, legs still too weak that he couldn't walk without a limp or stumbling with the pain shooting up.
A fucking monster Ji-sul had been to him.
Not to worry though, because once he heals he'd show the boy how it's really done.
But keeping aside Ji-sul who he didn't give a flying fuck about, he was more over hurt— damaged would sound more suitable— over the fact that Yeonjun chose Ji-sul's side and decided to keep him safe.
Didn't Yeonjun for once… even felt like being on his side?
If Yeonjun had just said don't take Ji-sul's name it would have been better but what he actually said was:
"Soobin… I heard from Haebom that Ji-sul did this to you. Tomorrow there will be questioning of it as you know, please… for me, don't say anything about Ji-sul, I can't see him behind the bars… I can't see him getting hurt."
Okay, so he didn't care about his bruised best friend laying on the hospital bed with tubes in his skin literally on a ventilator fucking in pain—
No seriously, fuck it!
He doesn't— wouldn't give a shit about Yeonjun anymore and if that boy wants to be that man-whore's little twink so it be.
Now Soobin has absolutely nothing to say, he was fucking betrayed by his best friend for years over a cheating motherfucker.
