I leaned my head against the cold window of my Uber driver's car and watched the different buildings in New York pass by us. It was a nice autumn day, leaves were flowing around and everything seemed straight out of a movie. It was my first time being in such a place and the sights were breathtaking, I wouldn't dare look away. I've never thought about moving here until a few months ago, just as I graduated school and decided to move out of my parents' house. I didn't know where I was going or what I was going to do even so. But then, one day, it just popped up in my head like an annoying pimple. Yes, New York. One of the most beautiful states in all of America. It was calling me for some reason and I just had to go. I've been going over this with all my family and friends and everyone was so excited I was moving and getting ready to become a young adult. Everything was going well until the train.
