Easter with Lukey

It's Easter Day and your boyfriend Luke takes you and your little boy to the park. Luke loved spending time in family every time he had the chance and he would take it. Today wasn't any different, you got (s/n) ready while Luke fixed up the picnic basket with food and snacks. Luke enjoyed making food for the three of you even though he wasn't the best, but he would make it with love. You two we're extremely happy because just a week before you gave, Luke the news that you two would be expecting again. You loved that Luke cared and loved you so much, but sometimes his overprotectiveness would stress you out.

He would ask forgiveness once he notice he got carried away, but still do it again later. You would giggle it out and find it adorable that he cared so much for your expecting child.

Once you guys arrived to the park your (s/n) wanted to go egg hunting and begged you to tell, Luke it was time to find the missing plastic shape eggs. Luke nodded and gave you a warm smile and he kissed your forehead. "Not yet, baby girl" he said, as he kissed your cheek.

You frowned a little as your toddler made his best puppy face to convince both of his parents. Luke chuckled a laugh and sat back down, he grabbed (s/n) from his small waist and sat him carefully on his lap. "First you'll eat and then we can go egg hunting with, mommy" Luke smiled, as he finished his sentence. He seems always so happy when he gets to call you that, "mommy" your little boy pouted, but gave up without trying. He got up and ain't one of the sandwiches, Luke had early before.

You smiled thinking about how soon there would be a new member to the family. Luke laid his head on your lap as he watched the blue sky, he laces his hands with yours and kissed your knuckles. You as well looked over to the direction he was looking at and chuckled, "that one looks like a rabbit" you laughed as you pointed to a cloud shaped rabbit. Luke nod and smiled, "and that one looks like egg" he pointed to the one beside it. You laughed harder than ever as you messed up his hair. "That looks nothing like an egg, silly" you giggled, leaning down and pecking his forehead.

He blushed, and you felt butterflies once again. You cuddled his cheeks as if there wasn't other way to show him so much more affection. The day went by and after the egg hunting your baby boy came running towards both of you, he hoped onto your lap and wraps arms around your neck. You left so happy that your little loved you so much and that knowing he's nothing without you made you love him even more. The sudden panic of Luke's reaction to your guys is child's action brought you back to reality making you unaware of what was Luke saying "I don't want you to jump on your, mommy like that okay (s/n) you can hurt your baby sister or brother.." Your little toddler frowned and nodded to whatever Luke said ,but still felt bad for what he had done. Without looking into your eyes your baby boy mumbled an "I'm sorry, mommy..." And a sad smile appeared on your face.

These were the little things that Luke would overprotect you about even though you didn't yet have a baby bump. You shook your head at look and with know words from your mouth he knew that he went over broad about the incident. He rubbed his neck nervously and apologized with your guys is son. Another smile popped out of nowhere, knowing that, Luke understand what he did wrong.

You asked your little one what he was going to show you and he came back running with his Easter basket. You chuckled as you saw him struggle with the basket filled with egg candy. He emptied his basket and asked you to help him count them.

You nodded and counted them one buy one. After you were done counting one he would place it back in the basket making, Luke chuckle from how cute he thought it was. When you finished counting all of them, Luke kneeled down in front of you from where you were sitting you chuckled as he brought out another egg "you were hiding it from me weren't you?" You gave him a small smirk ending it with a giggle, he shook his head and opened it as a diamond ring appeared inside "will you marry me, (Y/N) ?..." He asked, as his smile grow bigger than ever and your heart felt like I would ever stop beating so fast again.

A small squeal escaped your lips as you quickly nodded to his question wordless to answer but he knew that you meant yes. He took out the ring and placed it in your ring finger. The smile of happiness wouldn't go away for nothing, making you blush like crazy. He blushed as well and looked down to the floor before biting is lip ring trying to contain his happiness as well. He waste no time to wrap his arms around your waist leaning in kissing you passionately and desperately like never before. You felt your little son hug both of you and in that moment you knew that you'd be bless with so much joy and love for the present and future...
