Lovebirds

(Y/n Pov)

I held my lunch tray in my hand, looking for a place to sit. I saw an empty table and sat over there. I felt someone put there arm around me and sit next to me. "Hey ma" Ash said, kissing my cheek.

I softly smiled, "Hi Ash". Maddy and her friends at in front of us. "How are my favorite lovebirds doing?" Maddy asked excitedly. "Hi to you too Maddy" I say.

Ash removed his arm from my shoulder and leaned his head against it instead. We all started to talk to each other about our day and things like that. I would take a bite of my food in-between sentences.

I looked down and noticed that some of my food was missing. I looked at Ash and saw him chewing while trying to cover his mouth. "Really?" I ask. He looked at me with wide eyes. "What?" he asked with the food still in his mouth.

"Your eating my food!" I complained. He swallowed the food that was in his mouth, "Well there was a lot and I wanted some". "And you couldn't get your own food" I say. "Why do that when I can just eat off your plate?" He replied, taking another piece of food off of my tray.

I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my drink. The bell for the next period rang and we all headed to class. Ash and I walked to class together.

-After School-

I stood by Ash's class waiting for him to come out. He walked out and I smiled at him, "Hey". He smiled back, "Hey". He wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked out the school.

"You wanna hang out at the store?" he asked. We were walking home cause Fez had to work and Maddy was going out with her friends. "I gotta go home and work on the project for english. And you should probably work on it too".

"We can work on it at your place" he suggested. I thought about it for a minute. If he did come over, I don't know how mom and dad will react. I never had a guy come over before.

"Uh...sure" I said. We walked to my place and I opened the gate door and walked to where our apartment was at. Ash still had his arm around me so I gently removed it. He looked at me confused, "What was that for?".

"My mom and dad will freak out if they find out that we're dating" I explained. He hummed and nodded his head. I opened the door and walked in with Ash following me.

Dad was sitting on the couch watching tv. He looked at me and Ash. "Who's that?" he asked pointing at Ash.
"A classmate. We have to do a project for english" I answered. He nodded his head and looked back at the tv.

I looked at Ash, "You want a drink?". He shook his head, "Nah, I'm good". I hummed and motioned towards my room, "Come on. We can study in my room". We walked to my room and I closed my door.

I looked at Ash, "You can put your stuff on the bed if you want". He nodded his head and put his stuff on the bed. I put my stuff next to his and sat down on the bed.
I pulled my laptop out of my bag and set it on my bed and opened google docs.

Ash sat next to me and rested his head on my shoulder. "Shouldn't you be working on the poster?" I ask. "There isn't a paper big enough for me to do it on" he complained. I rolled my eyes, "Well just write ideas down then".

He groaned before getting a piece of paper and a pen. I went back to doing research and writing the essay.

(Ashtray Pov)

I looked up up from my paper and saw Y/n slightly sticking her tongue out. Must be something that she does when she concentrates. I softly chuckle and she looks up at me.

"What?" she asks. I shook my head, "Nothing. Your just so cute". She smiles and leans over her computer. I lean in and cup her cheek and kiss her. She kisses back.

"How's my favorite couple-OH MY GOD!" we hear Maddy yell. Y/n quickly pulls away and looks at her sister. "Haven't you ever heard of knocking?!". Maddy giggles, "I am so sorry".

I look at Maddy, "How did you know I was here?". "My dad told me" she answered. Y/n sighed, "Can you go now?". Maddy softly chuckled, "Okay, okay". And with that she left the room, shutting the door behind her.

I looked back at Y/n. She groaned and put her head in her hands. I laugh, "Well that was awkward". She looked back up at me, "It was".

There was a moment of silence before Y/n spoke. "You wanna go to the store?". I looked at her, smirking "I told you we should've just gone to the store!". She rolls her eyes and shuts her computer, "Let's just go". I chuckle, "Whatever you say ma".
