Chapter 11

Author's POV:

Mikasa was walking out from her last class with Sasha. Sasha was talking about how dumb she was about believing Armin's food technique. "Wait, so you're telling me that Armin teaches you mathematical formulas using food as examples?" Sasha nodded.

"And the question was something about minus and I imagine the numbers as apples" Sasha paused and looked at Mikasa. Mikasa raised a brow and Sasha laughed. "I answered "0 apples left because I eat it all"" Sasha laughed.

Mikasa chuckled at how stupid her friend can be. "Are you serious, Sasha?" Sasha nodded again and wiped the tears that came out from her eyes because of laughing too hard. "And then I showed Armin the result, Armin was disappointed" Sasha continued laughing.

Oh well, what was Armin thinking anyways? He was using food for examples in maths questions? She was teaching Sasha!

If Connie he was teaching at the time, it doesn't matter, but he was teaching Sasha! Sasha Braus! If he was expecting good results from Sasha, he's wrong.

"Hey, Mikasa!" Eren shouted from a far when he saw Mikasa walking with Sasha. "Oh, hey, Eren!" Sasha waved at him and he waved back. "What's up?"

"Mikasa, is your class over?" Eren asked and she nodded. "Aww, really? I thought you still have one more class because if you do, we can go out and eat together!" Sasha chuckled to herself. Mikasa felt her face burnt.

"I'm sorry. Maybe, we can go out tomorrow" Sasha nodded quickly at her suggestion, Mikasa and Eren laughed. "Great, I need to tell you something" Eren said, Mikasa looked at him and raised a brow. "Faster, Mikasa!"

"Alright, alright. Bye, Sasha! See you tomorrow" Mikasa waved at her and she waved back. "Bye, Mika!" Eren quickly pulled Mikasa out from their school. "Yo, calm down, Eren" Eren shook his head and quickly pushed Mikasa inside their shared car.

Eren entered the driver seat and closed the door, locking it and turned on the engine. "Mikasa, hear me out.." Eren said out of breath. Mikasa looked at him and raised a brow. "It's about Armin"

"What about him?" Mikasa asked calmly. "We met at lunch time and he suddenly asked me if I like flowers or not, he even asked me what my favourite movies and chocolates were" Eren explained as he put on his seatbelt, Mikasa did the same.

"I was curious. I asked him why he asked me those questions and he said he just wanna makes sure what I like. I don't understand what he meant by that" Eren put their car on drive and started driving to their house. "You've told him what you like when we were littles and he just wanna make sure you didn't change interests"

"Oh. But, don't you think it's weird?" Eren asked. Mikasa shrugged. "Annie asked me the same questions, too" Mikasa added and Eren looks at her and then quickly looks back on the road.

"Really?" Mikasa nodded. "She said Armin said to her that he wants to meet you at lunch time so that's why she hangs with me" Mikasa explained, Eren nodded. "They're getting weird" Eren breath.

"Armin, he always hangs with us but now, he's always with Annie like he's Annie's bodyguard" Eren complains. Mikasa nodded, agreed on what Eren says. It's true though, they used to hang out together but now, Armin's always with Annie.

Hell, even Reiner and Bertholdt had complained to her that Annie doesn't want to hang out with them anymore unless, she's free. She always free after school, Mikasa knows, but, she preferred to hangs out with Armin like Armin was her knight. She told Reiner and Bertholdt to try and talk to her but they said it's up to her.

Well, Reiner and Bertholdt had gave up on trying to convince her to hang out with them. Mikasa heard that they hang out with the Galliard. She sighed. Annie was making her close friends think she hates them.

"They're madly in love.." Mikasa whispered. "Huh?"

"They're madly in love, Eren" Mikasa repeated. Eren gritted his teeth and sighed. "I don't think Armin wants to be friends with us anymore" Mikasa looked at Eren and raised a brow.

"What makes you think that? I know he always put Annie first but that doesn't mean he don't want to be friends with us" Eren bit his lower lip and dugged his nails on the steering wheel. "I don't know, Mikasa. He never comes to our house anymore ever since he and Annie hooked up!" Mikasa remains silent. Eren does has a point, though.

"He even cut his hair for her. Now his hair is just like Floch's" Mikasa giggled. Eren smiled and sighed. "I just... I just want the old Armin back" Eren bit his lower lip again. "He has changed, a lot" Eren continued.

"And I want the old Annie back. The one who always hangs with her close friends and always talk to me" Mikasa hid half of her face in her scarf. How many times has Mikasa covered half of her face in her scarf just because of Annie? Probably more than 7 times.

She always did that when she's sad. Eren knows. They're siblings. Not actual siblings, but they grew up together! Eren knows everything about her except why she dislike his uncle.

She doesn't dislike her uncle, but she probably don't like him either. She just likes him in Mikasa's terms.

"Mom texted me that she, dad and Zeke will be coming here from German" Eren said after a while and Mikasa nodded. "Do not tell them how my condition is, Mikasa"

"Well, you, don't tell mom anything about Armin hooked up with Annie or else she'll be asking me a lot of questions" Eren nodded. They both remained silent as they listened to the song on radio. Well, she was hoping that Zeke would not be an asshole. Or else they would be fighting like little kids.
