The Fake and Real Wei Wuxian

Chapter 2

Five hour has pass the Lan spell wore off, "Jiang Cheng, you and Shijie stay here. I will head back down to Caiyi town to find our invitation. I think it should be in that room, the one at the inn we were staying in."

"Fine just don't fight with Jin Zixuan."

"Don't worry I won't I won't," 'is not like I want to fight with him either, he just a arrogant peacock.'

Wei Wuxian arrive at the inn before the sun set, "excuse me," the same inn waiter come to the front door, "yes gongzi?"

"We left something in one of the room that we were staying in. Can I got get it? Don't worry once I get it. I will leave," the waiter nodded his head since Wei Wuxian did said that he will leave once he get whatever it is that he has left behind.

Wei Wuxian found the invitation next to the candle, "Jiang Cheng, it look like the invitation fell out of your bag." When he left the inn, he went to go buy Tianzi  Xiao. "Gusu wine, I bet it taste better then any other wine from other countries." He got two of them.

Cloud Recesse

While waiting for Wei Wuxian to come back with their invitation Jiang Yanli is worry that Wei Wuxian will cause trouble for Jin Zixuan, "A-Jie, before he left, he said that he won't fight with Jin Zixuan. So don't worry," Jiang Yanli can only worry silently.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli hear footstep coming from their right, they turn to see Lan Wangji on the other side of them. Lan Wangji eye the place, he didn't see Wei Wuxian anywhere. He walk over to the Jiang sibling and their disciple, "My brother said that you can enter into Cloud Recesse. I already told him what happen and he agree to let you and your disciple to come in."

"Wait what about Wei Wuxian? He went find our invitation," Jiang Cheng look back down the mountain.

"He can come back in tomorrow with your invitation. We will close the gate at 7 and open at 5." Lan Wangji turn around to walk back toward Cloud Recesse, "A Jie."

"We can wait for A-Xian tomorrow, let's head into Cloud Recesse first," so they all left from there to head into Cloud Recesse.

When Wei Wuxian head back to Cloud Recesse he see that Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli isn't there anymore. "Where is everyone?" Wei Wuxian decide to walk to Cloud Recesse gate, "how come there no one here?" Wei Wuxian walk toward the gate and when he did, he hit the wall.

"Ow ow ow. What in the world is this?!" He put his hand on it, "a shield, it look weak to me," he step back away from it and then he write a talisman into the air and he push it in front of him, it turn into butterfly as it break through the shield.

"Barrier are made to be break," he walk up the stair to Cloud Recesse. *Sigh* 'I might as well climb the wall,' he did just that, he look over the roof and he see no one inside so he climb fully over the roof.

Once he is on top of the roof his eye connected with those below him, "Lan er gongzi, out for a night stroll?" Lan Wangji shook his head no, "Then patrolling to see if anyone is breaking the rule?" He nodded his head.

"Don't mind me," Wei Wuxian open one of the jar to drink while still sitting on the roof of Cloud Recesse.

"You know alcohol is forbidden in Cloud Recesse."

"Mn."

"You broke the barrier."

"Mn."

"You came back after curfew."

"Mn."

'Mn? Is that all he can said? Something is different with this guy. I heard he always a mischievous person, causing trouble, never follow rule and free like the bird.' Lan Wangji jump up on the roof, he sat down next to Wei Wuxian well a little bit of space between the two of them but not close.

"Your not like everyone describe you to be?"

"How do you think of me?" Wei Wuxian lowered the wine, he and Lan Wangji eye connected once more, 'there sadness, loneliness, and pain in those eye,' "they said that you are mischievous, causing trouble, never follow rule and alway free to do whatever you like."

Wei Wuxian chuckle at this, "that's just a fake me.....trying to be who I am not."

Hearing this got Lan Wangji confuse, "What do you mean by that?"

"The real me....no one know about. The one everyone talk about is a fake one. I just putting on a smile, be mischievous and other thing to make people believe that....that person is me. You can figure out the real me, right?"

"Mn. I can see from looking into your eye."

"Lan Zhan.....can I call you that? You can call me Wei Ying."

"Mn."

"Lan Zhan the person who is talking to right now....is the real me. No smile, no mischievous and no causing trouble. I don't trust anyone.....my parents is gone, I was left on the street, the adult didn't even lift a finger to help me. Jiang shushu found me and bring me back to the Jiang clan. Not even there am I welcome, Madam Yu abuse me, she punish me and even use Zidian on me. I thought that finally I found a place to live with a roof over my head, a warm bed and a family but I was wrong. It wasn't what I expected."

'Doesn't he have anyone to talk to about this?' "Wei Ying, how come you never told no one about this?"

"I can't.....I found....I found that there is no one I can talk to about this, until now."

Lan Wangji know that Wei Wuxian is talking about him, "You can come talk to me anytime you want."

Wei Wuxian smile, his real smile, "Thank you Lan Zhan. Can you forget tonight? I want to taste Gusu Tianzi Xiao. Finally, I found someone who I can talk to about my feelings.

"I will forget tonight, I won't report you to Shifu and xiong zhang."

Wei Wuxian nodded his head, "oh that's right. The guy you brought back today, he isn't dead. It is more like his spiritual conscience has been stolen. Also, you should tell your Shifu and xiong zhang to put wax in his ear."

"Put wax in his ear, why?"

"Someone might listen on your Shifu and brother."

Lan Wangji stand up, "please go back to your dorm once your done with your wine," after saying that he jump down from there, "Goodnight Wei Ying."

"Goodnight Lan Zhan."

Lan Wangji walk away from there to head to his uncle room to tell them walk Wei Wuxian have said to him.

'I hope I can get to know more about Wei Wuxian,' with that last thought in his head, he enter into Lan Qiren room.
