The Fake and Real Wei Wuxian

While putting the herb on Lan Wangji leg, he stop Wei Wuxian hand, "What is it? Does it hurt?"

Lan Wangji took some of the herb and apply it to Wei Wuxian injury on his chest. "That hurt Lan Zhan."

"Then next time don't be so reckless."

"If I don't be reckless how can I save someone like Mian Mian. A girl like her don't deserve to have a scar on her face. But man can have scar on them since we are man after all. Beside this remind me that I once save a girl a very beautiful girl."

Hearing Wei Wuxian said this made Lan Wangji angry, "You do know that she won't forget you either right?"

"Why are you so angry, Lan Zhan?"

"If you don't mean it, then don't flirt with someone."

"I am not flirting with you anyway. Unless?" Wei Wuxian have on a mischievous smile as he closed his distance between him and Lan Wangji.

"Unless what?"

"Unless Lan Zhan, you like Mian Mian."

Lan Wangji connected their eye, 'Wei Ying, your joking right? I can't believe you said that.'

"Ah you really like her?"

'Wei Ying, you sure are slow at these thing. How can I tell you the truth? Well if I did tell you. What will you think of me?'

Wei Wuxian let out his funny side, a different Wei Wuxian instead of the one fighting with Wen Chao earlier.

"Oi hahahaha!" He nudged Lan Wangji shoulder. "Why am I sitting here talking to nonsense thing with you?"

"You got no choice Lan Zhan. It is only the two of us here in this stupid cave. If you don't talk to me then who else will you talk to?"

Wei Wuxian look over at Lan Wangji, "there something I been meaning to ask you. What happen to Cloud Recesse? I been worry sick about you and wonder what happen to you."

"Cloud Recesse have been burn down. Shifu is injured and Xiong zhang, he gone missing."

"Gone missing?!"

"Mn."

'Then that mean Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan going to either Nie or Gusu is useless if the Wen clan already taken over their clan. I wonder where else will Jiang Cheng go for help. The only clan left is the Jiang and Jin clan. But the Jiang clan is so far, he will probably go with Jin Zixuan back to Jinlintai to ask for help. I hope that good for nothing clan leaders Jin Guangshan will sent help.' "Don't worry I am sure Jiang Cheng will find a way to get us out of here."

Wei Wuxian look back over at Lan Wangji, 'even in this situation Lan Zhan call fall asleep then I am guessing it is already 9.'

The next morning Lan Wangji woke up, he didn't see Wei Wuxian anywhere. This got him to into a panic mode, "Wei Ying!"

Hearing Lan Wangji loud voice calling his name Wei Wuxian rush back into the cave, "Lan Zhan, what is it?"

"Where did you go? Why are you all soak?"

"Ah I went back into the pond to see if that opening is still there or not. It look like that big guy block up the place."

"You shouldn't go into the water with that injury."

"I am not that weak you know," Wei Wuxian take off his cloth to dry it once more. "I use to play in the lake with injury as well but they have healing herb there so I don't have to worry about it."

"What kind of monster do you think it is?"

"A turtle. A very big turtle."

"This immortal monster is also call a mythic creature."

"Mythic creature?" He went to sit down next to Lan Wangji. "What kind of Mythic creature?"

"Is a mythic creature Xuanwu. It a Xuanwu but also call Xuanming. The combination of a snake and a turtle." (Let's said that Lan Wangji explain this to Wei Wuxian okay)

"Is that even possible to be call Xuanwu? It can even eat human with those sharp teeth of him." Wei Wuxian said this while continue to dry his clothes.

"Do you remember Lan Yi tell us about a fake monster that is similar to this one? The one she call "The Slaughter Xuanwu"?"

Wei Wuxian think back to when Lan Wangji tell the two of them how Xue Chonghai manipulate an ancient mythic creature The slaughter Xuanwu.

"Oh I remember now, then that mean this is the monster that Xue Chonghai have left here for over a thousand year ago is this turtle?"

"That's right."

"Then how about we just kill it already. We can make a name for ourselves. It worth the kill beside we will never have the chance to take down something this big in our night hunting. How about it?"

The two of them went back out to collected the bow and arrow that got left behind by the Wen clan. They want to use this to take down the immortal monster. Wei Wuxian ties all the arrow into a pile while Lan Wangji tie the string into a long rope.

Lan Wangji strike the rock with the tip of the arrow into the rock, "Chord Assassination."

"It is similar to the seven string of a zither. The string went from thick to thin, they can also be either play together or separately. This kind of string can cut bone and flesh of we attack from the inside."

"I agree with you on this. We should attack from the inside but there is one thing that your chord assassination won't work inside of the turtle. It need a lot of space to attack beside I don't think you can move a lot with your injured leg. Let me handle it okay?" Lan Wangji nodded his head.

Wei Wuxian went inside of the turtle while Lan Wangji wait outside. 'Ewww gross, doesn't this turtle ever clean itself. I'm glad Lan Zhan isn't the one in here or he will throw up.'

He walk around inside the turtle shell, he see something floating in the water. 'What is this?' He scooped up to look at it, 'human hair? No wonder there are tone of human body inside of this turtle.'

Wei Wuxian continue to walk to find the turtle weak spot and when he did he heard a clanking sound, 'what under here?' He use his hand to search around underneath the water, that is when he felt the handle of a sword.

'A sword? If this is a spiritual sword that will help a lot,' when Wei Wuxian touched the handle he start to hear screaming coming from it.

He then see the light he look up ahead to see the turtle head staring back at him. The turtle launch to attack Wei Wuxian, he pick up the sword and used the arrow to stabbed the turtle nose or is head and  that didn't work.

Wei Wuxian use the sword to stabbed the turtle underneath it jaw, it was roaring in pain. The turtle pull it head out with Wei Wuxian hanging from the sword, "Lan Zhan!"

'Wei Ying!' Lan Wangji begin to attack the turtle with his chore assassination.

Wei Wuxian then felt the resentment energy begin to surround him and enter into his body. Lan Wangji doesn't like the way the dark energy is surrounding Wei Wuxian like this, "Wei Ying!"

Wei Wuxian felt himself engulf with the resentful energy bringing out his other self, "Go died you monster!" He use that resentment energy to pick up the sword and arrow, he send them to the neck of the turtle, with one last pull from Lan Wangji, the turtle die.

Once the turtle dies the sword loose itself from the turtle neck making Wei Wuxian fall down into the water.

"Wei Ying!"
