The Fake and Real Wei Wuxian

Chapter 12

Cloud Recesse have been burn down, Lan Xichen escaped with the Lan secret scroll. Lan Qiren got hurt while fighting Wen Xu. As for Lan Wangji, his leg got broken by the Wen disciple. Wen Xu got his hand on the third piece of the Yin Iron. He took Lan Wangji back to Qishan so that he can attend the Qishan indoctrination.

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng arrive at Qishan, the two see the other clan is there too.

'How come Lan Zhan isn't here? I hope nothing bad happen to him. Since Lan Zhan have the Yin Iron, they will target his clan.'

"Wei xiong, Jiang xiong," Nie Huaisang said with a Sad expression on his face.

"Jiang Cheng, how come the Lan clan isn't here?" Jiang Cheng look around the place. "Do you think something has happening to them?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"Is good thing that Lan Wangji isn't here, don't forget he have the Yin Iron with him."

'But still....I am having a bad feeling about this,' "but I'm still worry about him."

"You should worry about yourself rather then someone else."

*Sigh* 'Jiang Wanyin, the first thing you need to think about is to help other people as well.'

Then someone call out to let them know that Wen Chao have arrive and that everyone should line up properly. Wen Chao begin to talk smack about them like how they are dog beneath his foot and how they are a bunch of lazy people. That is why they are here for indoctrination.

Wen Chao ask his Wen disciple to bring Lan Wangji up, this got everyone to turn around to only see Lan Wangji by himself, 'Why is Lan Zhan by himself? Where is his Lan disciple?'

When Wen Chao tell the other clan about what happen to the Lan clan, the blood inside of Wei Wuxian is boiling higher then the one back in Cloud Recesse during their ceremony.

Feeling this from Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji grab a hold of Wei Wuxian wrist. Feeling Lan Wangji hand on his wrist Wei Wuxian calm down.

'I will make him pay. The Lan Clan and Lan Zhan doesn't deserve this just because they have the Yin Iron with them. You better watch it, Wen Chao.'

The first thing Wen Chao going to do is, he ask all of  the heir and disciple to hand in their sword. This is an order from his father. He doesn't want anyone to attack the Wen clan while they are here for their indoctrination.

They were given the Wen clan book call "The Quintessence of Wens" in this book Wen Chao describes them as their clan proverb and their glories because it was their clan leader who become famous in their time before they were born.

They were taken to the room  that they will be staying in for no one know for how long,  Wei Wuxian look at the book in his hand, 'I can't believe all of these are bunch of rubbish. Who want to read them out loud anyway.'

"The Wen clan proverb are all rubbish, don't they even follow or read there own clan Quintessence?"

"What kind of rubbish are you talking about?"

"Here let me read this to you: Those who count on their clan and do evil at will shall all be executed. Not only to be executed but also decapitated and reviled by the people to warn the future generations. Do you think if we decapitated the Wen head, will the outnumbered by the pig head." Wei Wuxian couldn't help but laugh at this.

"Well it seem like all of the Wen are thick skinned, it seem like this is their heirloom after all."

The next day they were out to the same place again. Wen Chao call on Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian and Jin Zixuan to read the Wen clan Quintessence, the only two that doesn't want to read is Lan Wangji and Jin Zixuan.

'I guess if I don't do this we will all be in big trouble,' "I will I will!" (Since Wei Wuxian didn't write down the rule in cloud Recesse, let's just have him read the Wen Quintessence)

Wei Wuxian end up reading all of the Wen clan Quintessence perfectly. Everyone sigh with relief but that didn't stop Wen Chao from getting them all to read it over and over and over again each day.

Until one day, one of the Wen disciple came to tell Wen Chao that they found a cave during there night hunt. His father want him to go see what is inside that cave, so he decide to take the disciple along with their heir to that cave to get whatever is there.

As they walk through the forest they soon spread out to look for this cave. Wei Wuxian couldn't help but look back at Lan Wangji who is walking with one perfect leg while the other one is limping.

When Wei Wuxian is about to walk over to Lan Wangji, Jiang Cheng stop him, "Where are you going?" Wei Wuxian look back at Lan Wangji, Jiang Cheng follow Wei Wuxian eye.

"Your not going to help him are you? Do you want to get our clan in trouble?" Jiang Cheng said with a slight annoyance in his voice.

'The Jiang family doesn't know how to help fellow cultivator,' "Yes, I am going to help him. Can't you see that he can't walk well?"

"Your not going to carry him are you?"

"Even if he doesn't want me to carry him, then I will force myself to carry him." Wei Wuxian remove Jiang Cheng hand as he walk over to Lan Wangji side.

"Lan Zhan is your leg okay?" Wei Wuxian asked while looking at his right leg.

"Is fine," Lan Zhan walk pass Wei Wuxian but he step in front of him, "Lan Zhan, we been through death and back. Why can't you let me help you?" 'These Lan are stubborn.'

"I'm fine."

Wei Wuxian stop Lan Zhan once more, "Then how about I carry you?"

"Boring," After saying that Lan Wangji walk pass Wei Wuxian, 'If you won't let me help you then there is only one way. Wen Qing can help since she is the only decent Wen clan member that aren't evil and arrogant like Wen Chao.'

Since Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji is walking behind the other people out of the corner of his eye Wei Wuxian see Wen Ning. He fall behind to see what Wen Ning want, "Wen Ning what are you doing out here?"

Wen Ning pull out a bottle of medicine and a bag with herb inside of it, "You and other people might get injured. So please keep this with you.l

Wei Wuxian smile at how kind Wen Ning is, "Thank you Wen Ning." Wei Wuxian went back to catch up with the Lan Wangji who is still walking very slowly behind the group. Then an indies come into his mind.

Wei Wuxian pull out a red paper man, he use his blood on it. He let it fly through the Wen disciple without letting them see him. He found Wen Qing and landed on her arm, "Wen guniang, is me, I have a favor to ask. Can you find a way for us to rest? Lan Zhan can't walk much long with his injured leg.'

Wen Qing end up telling everyone to have a rest, Wei Wuxian is thankful that there is someone like Wen Qing and her brother is in the Wen clan. 'I hope that some day I can return the favor to Wen Qing and Wen Ning for helping me today.'

Wei Wuxian glance over at Lan Wangji, 'I wonder what happen in Cloud Recesse.'
