The Fake and Real Wei Wuxian

Chapter 9

After all three arrive at the Annual Flower Girl Mansion, the Yin Iron there was taken by Wen Chao. They are now on a different place to see if they can find another yin iron or not. The place they came to is a mountain, all three see an old lady sitting on a rock shaking and mumbling something they couldn't hear.

"Granny granny, can you show us a place to sleep? To sleep to sleep," the granny heard Wei Ying, she got up and then tell the three of them to follow her.

As they follow the granny Wei Ying has a bad feeling about the cave up the mountain.

"Wei Ying, what's wrong?" Lan Wangji asked.

"I don't like the feeling of this place. Something happen here, that old lady keep on mumbling. Soul, pier, spirit snatcher."

When they arrived at the cave where they are going to stay, a man came out to tell them about the status. Then a minute later the same old lady came back with firewood for the three so that they won't get cold at night while staying there.

During the night when all three of them were sleeping, Nie Huaisang is having a nightmare. He woke up screaming this woke Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian up.

"Nie xiong, what's wrong huh?" Wei Wuxian asked while looking at a shake up Nie Huaisang.

"We...I....I...." Nie Huaisang didn't get to finish what he want to said when all three of them hear movement of stone or some sort of sound from the other side of them. They went to see what cause the noise, when they got there, they see the lady status move.

"Why....why....why is she moving?" Nie Huaisang said in a shaking voice.

The statue attack them, the only person she attacking is Lan Wangji because he have a Yin Iron with him.

'Oh no you don't. I won't let you hurt Lan Zhan,' Wei Wuxian attack didn't work since she is made of rock, using the sword won't work on her. So he stuck his sword into a rock, he threw his golden string at the statue to stop her from attacking Lan Wangji.

'Can't.....can't....can't hold on!' The statue pull Wei Wuxian forward to hit him but he dodge it, "Wei Ying!"

The statue once again attack Lan Wangji, "Lan Zhan!" Wei Wuxian stop the statue hand from hurting Lan Wangji.

Wei Wuxian have on a mischievous smile, "Lan Zhan, I think she like you."

"Shut up."

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian end up sealing the statue back to the way it is. Not long the people of the mountain come to attack them. All three of them can't leave from the temple or hurt the people since they are under the spell of Wen Chao dire owl.

They block the door from letting the people in but that didn't stop them since there are more people from outside then inside. The door open up, Nie Huaisang wasn't able to get away, Lan Wangji step forward and send out his blue Qi to stop the people from moving. Wei Wuxian pull Nie Huaisang back and throw out his golden thread again to stop the people from coming any closer.

When Wei Wuxian is about to pull out his sword Lan Wangji stop him, "Don't hurt them."

"Why?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"Didn't you say that they are still alive?"

"Then what should we do?"

"We should run."

"Wait wait wait a minute Lan xiong, Wei xiong, that's just too rash."

"Nie xiong, try not to take your hand away from mine okay? We will get out of here."

Nie Huaisang is still scare that they might not be able to make it out of here alive. Just as they begin to run forward they hear the sound of flute playing in the distance. The people turn around and walk out of there following the sound of the flute playing for them.

When they are about to walk out of there a voice tell them to stop. They walk again the voice tell them to stop, that is when Wei Wuxian know who it is, 'why is he following me? How did he know we were here?' "Come out Jiang Cheng, if you don't Lan Zhan will get angry."

Jiang Cheng step out behind the statue, "Jiang Cheng, what are you doing here?" Wei Wuxian walk over to Jiang Cheng side.

"You can't be here, why can't I be here? Sound like you were having fun been away from home?" Jiang Cheng said with a annoying tone in his voice.

"Well at least I don't have to hear your harping all the time. I can do whatever I want."

"You have the nerve to say that? Do you know how much I- how much my sister worry about you? You just left without saying anything, you just left a note behind instead," Wei Wuxian went behind Nie Huaisang to stay away from Jiang Cheng.

"A ya Jiang Xiong, if you want to scare Wei xiong, you don't have to scare me and Ji xiong." (Yes yes I didn't write about Lan Zhan putting a silent spell on Nie Huaisang, I want to write it differently)

"Take a breath Jiang Cheng. It was me who follow Lan Zhan. You can't blame him," Wei Wuxian said this as he look over at Lan Wangji who is also looking at him.

Jiang Cheng then tell the three of them that if it weren't for Wen Qing they wouldn't still be here. That is when Jiang Cheng  notice the sound of flute have stop. They all left from there and went down the mountain.

When all four of them got to where Wen Qing is at, they see Wen Qing trying to lure the dire owl in by using a torch. Just as she is about to take the owl down, she head, "Wen Guniang!" She stop what she is doing, she turn to her right to see four guys heading her way.

Wen Qing did tell Jiang Cheng that once he save Wei Wuxian, they should leave from there but instead he come back to her. They want Wen Qing to come with them, she doesn't want to since these people here on Dafan Mountain is her family she can't leave them like this.

"Wen guniang, you know how to save these people?" Lan Wangji asked.

"All you need to do is take down that dire owl then everyone will go back to the way they were before."

"Wei Ying use your golden thread to surrounded them."

"Mn." With a spin Wei Wuxian use both of his hand, a golden thread came out and make a shield around Jiang Cheng, Nie Huaisang and Wen Qing.

"Wei Wuxian what are you doing?"

"Wei xiong, I don't think this will last long."

"Jiang Cheng protect them. Take care of them okay?" Wei Wuxian glanced over at Wen Qing, "You...."

"Now now Jiang Cheng, if the golden thread doesn't last try to add more layer to the thread okay. Your good at this, protected them well," Wei Wuxian see Lan Wangji walking in the direction of the Dire owl.

"Wait okay," he rush after Lan Wangji, "Lan Zhan wait for me!" The two soon enter into the wood to take down the dire owl.
