Chapter 9: Asuka's first Voice

End of the day. In the infirmary room, Asuka, Asagi, and Emilias are sitting right next to each other, right in front of Akira's bed. They are waiting for him to awake.

Elinara is also there, sitting in the corner of the room with a slightly guilty face.

Emilias sometimes glared at her sister and Elinara trembled when she felt the glare.

They all turned toward Akira when they heard a groan coming from Akira. The white-haired teen sat up from his lay position and rubbed his head.

"Ow, Elinara didn't hold back the punch," Akira said to himself as he realized he wasn't alone. Asuka and Asagi sigh in relief that he is awake.

"Thank god you aren't hurt," Asagi said, and she held Akira's hand with her as Asuka took another hand from her.

But before Asuka can say a word, ask him alright or not. Emilias dashes and hugs Akira as she wraps her around his neck.

"Are you alright, my husband?! Are you okay?!" Emilias ask.

Akira broke the brown sisters' hold, and he had Emilias break the hug away from his neck. Asuka and Asagi are slightly sad and mad at Emilias, but they shake that feeling away.

"Emi, I am fine. I just got a shock attack, that's all." Akira said to Emilias.

"You sure?" Emilias asks.

"Yeah... completely fine," Akira said with a smile. Emilias let go of the hug as Akira pet her head.

"Hey." They all turn toward the voice as they see Elinara walk to him. Asuka gets the instinct to walk in front of Elinara, only stops when Asagi holds her shoulder and shakes her head.

"Hey, look about what happened before I-I want to say that I'm... S-So... Sorry..." Elinara said as she released a deep breath.

Emilias and Akira smile at Elinara while Asuka calms down by her sister.

"Miss Elinara." Asuka finally said the first word on her first day in the academy, she being silent for the whole day. Now Asuka calls Elinara as the teacher turns toward Asuka.

"Emilias already told us that you want to protect her. I might not be strong, but I didn't like when my friend was hurt like this; I didn't know your problem with him, but please settle this peacefully," Asuka said as she looked at Elinara straight into her eyes.

"Is okay, Asuka. She already apologizes to me." Akira said. But Asuka ignored him as she continued her glaring.

"You claim you want to protect your sister, but in the end, you didn't!" Asuka said as she accidentally out her magic aura from her body.

Elinara saw how serious Asuka was. Elinara suddenly has shadows is covering her eyes. Asagi is slightly back away when she sees this, but Asuka doesn't flinch.

"Uh... Hey guys, calm down for a second." Akira said as Emilias nodded and agreed.

Elinara walks toward Asuka as they face each other while Asagi stays beside Asuka.

"Sister...?" Emilias said to her sister.

Everyone's eyes widen when suddenly Elinara hugs Asuka and Asagi tightly.

Asuka and Asagi are also surprised when she gets the hug.

"Thank you," Elinara said as the shadows from her eyes disappeared. "Thank you for taking care of my sister... I'm genuinely thankful for that."

There are silent for a couple of seconds. Then the siblings blushed a bit when they heard the words come from Elinara.

Akira and Emilias smiled at them. Elinara finally dropped her ego to say a thank you to someone lower rank than her.

The brown sisters look at each other, as Asagi says.

"Y-Your welcome...?" Asagi stutter.

"But if you hurt my friend even more after this... I will not forgive you." Asuka said.

Akira gets up from the bed and breaks them off with a slight smile.

"Done worry about that. That will never happen again." Akira said.

"And how you know that won't happen?" Asuka asks.

"I believe she will not do that again. Is it true, Elinara?" Akira asks as Elinara nods.

"Of course! She will not do that again. Because she is my beloved sister, and I know her very well." Emilias said with a wide smile.

Elinara's eyes were tearful with happiness when she heard her sister say that.

"I didn't still trust you, Miss Elinara, but I trust them. So I am looking forward to studying with you." Asuka said with a smile.

"Thank you, that's enough for me, and you two won't regret it! I will try to fix this relationship." Elinara claims happily.

Akira sighed as he looks at the window with thought. 'Finally, the day as well ending....'

"So what are we going to do now? I mean, my husband is already awake." Emilias ask her sister what to do now.

"Right now, we will wait for Miss Milah to come and assign Akira out," Elinara replied to her sister.

Akira sighs as he takes a seat on the infirmary bed. The girls take back their hearts as they are all waiting for Milah to come.

Akira and the girls are chatting except for Elinara because she is busy with her tablet devices.

Then minutes later, they hear a knock and see Milah entering the room with Chihane behind her.

'What she is doing here?! Aren't we only waiting for Milah?' Akira thought and didn't even dare to raise a voice to Chihane.

"Seriously? Can you not cause a scene for the first time and the first academy day!" Chihane yells toward Elinara and Akira.

"We are sorry for the trouble we cause, Master Chihane..." Akira said while Elinara looked down with a guilty face, but same time, she glanced at Akira with thankful eyes for saying sorry to Chihane.

"We might have misunderstood each other, but we will try to prevent that from happening again." Akira finishes with his word as he looks down.

Chihane looked at two of them as she released a deep breath and said. "You two are forgiven for now... Akira, you can check out from the infirmary." Chihane said as Akira nodded. "I can't believe you missed the whole class just for this misunderstanding. It's the end of the academy day, all of you can go to your Hostels. Milah will show you the way." Chihane said as she crossed her arms.

"Thank you, Master Chihane!" All of them said at the same time as Milah showed them the way to their hostels.

Chihane watches Akira leave her as she is in thought. 'Multi Magic elements, dark and light. Spiritual Dragon... Ryu Zero.'
