When the two boys looked around they saw a group of masked men with guns and knives. They then came closer to the two. One of the masked men grabbed Ash and the other grabbed Kriss. the first one spoke up. ''Do you have any money with you- you know, I don't even know why I am asking.'' he moved his hand to his pocket. Kriss kicks the man who is holding him, then hits the man who threatened them in the face. Ash starts fighting the man holding him as well and breaks free and runs with Kriss. They both run in different directions with Kriss running to a crowded place and Ash runs towards the forest, forgetting this is monster territory. Two men started running towards Ash. He ran as fast as he could without looking where he was going. He ran deep into the forest, after minutes of running he tripped over a root and fell down a hill while getting cuts and bruises along the way.

Once down he laid there for a bit to catch his breath. It wasn't until he did he realized what was going on and where he was. Ash managed to climb back up and inspect his surroundings. He didn't remember which way was the way back out so he only knew he would be unable to find his way back. The first thing he does is get back up that hill so he starts to climb up, but fails miserably. Eventually, he gives up and starts to find a way around the steep hill and limps beside the hill. But something doesn't feel right...why aren't there any monsters-? Ash shrugs it off and considers it lucky he hasn't encountered one yet.

As Ash was walking in the forest he could hear slight talking in the distance. he was constipating if he should run and hide, but he didn't know if the people that were coming were a threat or not. he decided against running, I mean, what's the worst that can happen except being murdered am I right? He slowly walks towards the voices and sees two monsters walking. one of the two has shoulder-length black hair with bangs and dark hazel eyes. They also have green clothes and pointy ears. The other has semi-long dirty blonde hair and green-blue-ish eyes. They also have dark purple wings, cat eyes, and a purple glowing halo. Ash decides to walk up to them and introduce himself, and if he can trust them ask for help.

he slowly walks towards them and starts with a shy ''hi...'' the first person looks up with a surprised look and responds to Ash with ''Uhm- hi? are you...okay?'' Ash was kind of surprised they spoke and understood English as well, but he shrugged it off and he responded with ''Well- my name is Ash, and I am kind of lost, do you have any idea where we are right now??''

''Well, my name is Charlie and that is my girlfriend Alice, we went on a walk in the forest. to be honest, I am also not completely sure where we are right now, but you could come with us to our home though?'' Ash shrugged. ''I mean, if you trust me enough- I'm not saying you can't trust me because you can- Uhm- I don't know-'' Ash keeps on rambling. Alice laughed and lightly punched his arm. ''you can stop now, we get it'' Charlie then speaks up ''I can't see what monster you are, do you mind telling us??''

Ash became worried. He didn't think about this! now he has to act like he is a monster, or he might be killed... but most importantly, first he needs to find Kriss! ''Uh- Oh no I- I am a zombie!- I think-'' He mumbled. Alice looked skeptical but accepted what he said, and Charlie then grabbed his arm to start walking towards their home. ''here we go...''

After somewhat literal hours of walking, they finally arrived at the place Alice and Charlie lived. Alice spoke up ''I know it is literally a school, but it is a boarding school so that explains it I guess-'' Ash just laughed it off, even though he could feel the anxiety build up in his chest. what if they would see I'm not a monster? as if Charlie was reading his mind, they said something. ''You know, it is probably smart to go to our dorm first, then maybe later we can show you the rest.'' Alice and Ash nodded in agreement and went to their dorm.

As the three walked inside the halls to the stairs leading up to the dorms they got stares from every single monster they encountered and it made Ash even more scared. Charlie noticed how Ash keeps avoiding eye contact and doesn't talk as much anymore. When they arrived at a door, Alice opened it and gestured for them to come inside.

A/N: here is some information about the school:

This school serves as a place of learning and a "homeless shelter" if you cannot afford to live in it you can request a job after the day or before although it rarely happens.
