[Gothel was once naturally beautiful but that was a long time ago, but more specifically 1,000 years ago. Her real name was Gothel Umbra, her name starting from her surname meant Evil Foster Mother, and everyone knew her as Dame Gothel. She was an orphan who didn't have friends growing up, but she grew up into a very beautiful young and intelligent woman, and all the men would fall for her beauty. However, she was very ambitious, materialistic, and vain. She began studying with Lord Demanitus alongside two other people. Lord Demanitus had three students and those were Gothel, a young man named Matthews Tromus, and another young woman named Sugracha Sugarby. They all wanted to research the legend of the sundrop and another special element called the moonstone, and both of these elements wanted to come together once again. Unfortunately, Lord Demanitus' students betrayed him and brought back Zhan Tiri. Lord Demanitus defeated all three of his students and Zhan Tiri. He then ripped the scroll into four pieces, scattered them throughout Germany, but within the kingdom of Corona and other nearby kingdoms and cities. Gothel then decided that she would no longer be aligned with demons or other professors and she went in search of the magical golden flower. She eventually found it and only needed to sing the special song to it to receive its healing properties and remain young forever. As the years passed, she continued to live forever thanks to the magic of the golden flower but she kept it to herself instead of sharing it with anyone. Throughout the years, Gothel had many male admirers and many lovers. On one occasion she had a lover for a good amount of years named Otto and she ended up getting pregnant, which was something that Gothel despised because she never intended to become a mother. She ended up having a baby girl with black hair and green eyes just like Gothel, but she had her father's nose, chin, and lips. Gothel decided to name her Cassandra and from then on she never met up with that man again. Naturally, all mothers love their children or child but not Gothel. She took care of Cassandra during the first year of her life but as soon as the little girl was able to take care of herself, which was by two years old. Gothel started to leave her more and more making Cassandra feel lonely since she didn't have anyone to talk to and the only things she ever did were chores. Gothel never loved the child, she treated her more like her servant than her daughter, she would leave her for most of the day by herself, and sometimes didn't return for a day or two. She would bring her back books so the young child could learn to read and write as much as a three-year-old could. They lived in a small cottage deep within the forest hidden away from everyone. However, that small cottage held bigger secrets underground. Secrets that were only known to Gothel and no one else, not even her daughter knew about them. When she decided to kidnap the princess so that she could stay young forever, Cassandra was four years old. Gothel was already at the cottage but the guards had gotten there first and Gothel made a choice. She decided to abandon her daughter so that the guards couldn't catch her. She broke the bridge with her sword and galloped away into the darkness. It wasn't a difficult decision for her since she never loved the child. After Gothel had disappeared, the captain of the guards had taken the young child away to protect her since she was very young. Gothel kept on going to find a place to hide and not once did she look back at what she had left behind. She had arrived at a very tall tower, she took away some vines from the side of the tower, took away some of the stones, and went inside by climbing some stairs. She came in through an old tile, laid the baby on an old rug, and then went back down to cover the side of the tower. The tower was very empty and Gothel knew that if she wanted the baby to survive then she would need to make sure that the tower had everything that a baby would need, and that's exactly what Gothel planned to do. She would make sure that the tower had every necessity available because there was no way on this earth or in this lifetime that anyone or anything would take away her beauty or the precious creature that kept her alive. The captain of the guards had told his majesties about what had happened but vowed to find The Lost Princess if it were the last thing he ever did. He decided to adopt the young Cassandra and in a couple of months, she forgot about her mother. The captain of the guards decided to keep it a secret from her to keep her from suffering. Queen Arianna was comforted by her sister, Willow, her sister-in-law, Isabella, and her other friends who were royals as well. Her other friends were Queen Adellene from the kingdom of Ravenberg, Germany, Empress Alexandra from Russia, Princess Ganika from the kingdom of Shirabad but for a long while now was the Sultana of the kingdom of Agrabah, a woman named Estelle from the kingdom of Autumnhaven, Queen Elinor of the kingdom of Dunbroch of Scotland, and Queen Arianna's best friend was Queen Leah from the kingdom of Sunhaven, France. At the age of five, Cassandra started viewing the captain of the guards as her father and started training alongside the guards and her adoptive father]
