Chapter 10

Allison's POV:

It was Christmas and Alex and I are spending it with the Matthews and Maya. Lucas went back to Texas for Christmas which is fine with me. I was sitting next to Alex talking to Maya. "So, are you excited?" She asked.
I shrugged "it's the first Christmas without my parents. I'm kind of anxious right now." I said.
"If you mind me asking, what exactly happened?" She asked.
I look down at my hands and Alex put his hand on my leg to see if I was alright. I nod that I was fine. "Can I tell you in my room. Im not quite ready to tell Riley." She nods.
I got up and went to go to my room. Alex grabbed my arm. "You sure?"
I nod. "Okay" he said. "I'm here if you need me."
We went to my room and I closed my door and locked it so Riley can't come in. "Okay, what I'm about to tell you don't repeat unless it's around Mr. Matthews, Alex or Lucas."
She nods. "How bad is it?"
"Really bad." I said taking a deep breath.
"Okay."  She said.
"Here we go. My mom was murdered in front of me. I came home one day from school without Alex which is unusual since we are basically inseparable. He's my best friend and vice versa. Anyway, I came home and there was a couple of guys who had broken in and they held me and my mom and I was made to watch them killed her then the guys held me down and they took something from me that I was trying to wait till marriage for. They raped me. Luckily this guy that lived not to far from me got there he saved my life. I believe his name is Shawn but I can't for the life of me remember his last name. From then on I had or have bad anxiety. I have thought of ending it so many times. My dad told me that I deserved it. So much so when I came home he did it again. Maya, I just I'm so scared and don't trust much. I feel like there's days I can't breathe there are only two people that can calm me down and it hurts." I said.
Maya looked at me with a sympathetic face. "Thanks for trusting me enough to tell me. I won't tell I swear."
I hugged her "thanks bug."
After awhile of talking we went to the living room. Alex looked at me with a "you okay" look. I nodded with a smile.
I saw some more people in the living room. My anxiety was kind of acting up which Alex noticed and whispered in my ear "you're okay."
"Hi, We're Cory's parents." I smiled and shook their hands. As I introduced me and Alex. Then another guy came in and I saw Mayas eyes go all heart eyes on him. I smiled at her and mouthed "I shipped you."
She eye roll at me. I giggled. We were all sitting around when a familiar face walked in. My mouth dropped but he told us kids to shh. I smiled. "You okay." Maya asked.
I leaned in and whispered in her ear "that's the guy that saved my life."
She looked at me "Really?"
I nod. "I just, I can't believe it."
I watch as Cory and Shawn hugged. I smiled because I never seen this before. After they let go I watch Shawn and Topanga hug.
I stood there and said "Shawn?"
"Allison." I had tears running down my face and ran over to hug him.
Cory was shock "you know each other."
"Yeah, he saved me otherwise I probably wouldn't have been here." I said when Shawn put me down.
"How have you been. How's your dad?" Shawn asked.
I looked down "he's in jail."
"I'm sorry kid. How about we talk later."
I nod.

After dinner Maya, Riley and I went with Shawn to the coffee shop to talk. Riley asked Shawn why he don't like her. But after a moment I whispered in Maya's here "Can I talk to you?"
She nods. We got out of the booth and talk real quick in the corner "Can you take Riley for a minute so I can talk to Shawn alone."
"Yeah, the bay window."
"I kind of want to talk in my room." I said.
She nods "you okay."
I nod "I just my anxiety has been all over the place and it's exhausting." I said.
"Okay." She said. "Do you like Riley?"
I shrugged "yeah I guess. I just she makes my anxiety rise. Plus it takes a while to let people in at all. She really hasn't made an effort to talk to me like you and Lucas and even Farkle."
She nods in agreement. "Okay, I'll see what's going on with her."
I said thanks and went back to the table. "Shawn when we get back can I talk to you alone and if needed Mr. Matthews can be in there too."
He nods of course.

We get back and go talk in my room.
"What's going on?" Shawn said.
I told him everything. "One day I came home and my dad basically beat me and raped me." I said tears falling down my face.
He hugged me. "Shh, I got you." 

Later everyone went home and Alex and I decided to bid everyone good night. I went to bed when I heard a knock on the window and saw Lucas and let him in.
"What are you doing here." I said.
"Well, I wanted to surprise you." He said. I kissed him.
"Lay with me." I said.
He nods. And crawled into bed with me and we soon fell asleep.
