chapter 4/ SMUT.

ELLIE SAMUELS POV:

"YOU DID WHAT!!" Betty screams, "Betty!" I squeal. It's been 2 days since Danny and I became official and I haven't stopped smiling. "You slept together?!", "yes, we did" I repeat myself, "aww. How was it? how was he? he looks like the kind of man that knows what he's doing", I giggle, going back to that night, "magical, dreamy and sensational. He definitely knows what he's doing", it's Betty's turn to squeal. Betty proceeds to fake fainting, I can't help but laugh. When I woke up next to danny the morning of, I didn't believe it happened, I thought I was dreaming, like a really good fever dream, but no. I turned to face him, finding him looking at me, smiling. He cuddled up to me, both our bodies touching, finding tranquillity and harmony in one another's happiness.

Betty and I arrive at the hospital, taking on all our duties. As I'm writing down our patients names, 2 pilots run in, claiming there's been an accident. I'm suddenly filled with anxiety and sickness. "Where!?" I yell to them, "follow us!" I run behind them, coming out to the planes and the main field, I see everyone circling around someone. I sprint over and finding a sense of solace that Danny isn't the one hurt. I push through the cockpit of the air-force, as I get to the man in the middle I see his leg essentially split in two. "Call for doctor welch now!", I make I'm restricting the movement, "how did this happen?" I question the captain walking to me, "he was climbing down from the plane, missed a step, next thing we know is he's on the ground writhing in pain". I look around the the crowd and meet eyes with danny, he smiles at me. I smile then hear doctor welch and the paramedics run to me, "Ellie! how did this happen?", "fell from his plane sir". the paramedics lift him onto a stretcher and immobilize lieutenant Smith. the crowd eventually parts ways and carries on with their day. Doctor welch tells me to follow him. we accompany the paramedics back to the hospital. "Lieutenant smith definitely needs surgery, as soon as possible", I state, "that he will. Well done Ellie for thinking fast and not having him move. You can go on your break now", "thank you sir". Betty runs toward me, "how bad was it?", "bad. His leg was in two pieces", "oh god, is he going to be ok?", "won't know for sure just yet but I'd be surprised if he wasn't", "ok thats a relief I guess, I've got to get back, talk to you after work?", "of course". 

I decide to find Danny. I look around the planes and in their common room but I can't find him anywhere. I see Rafe and walk over to him, "Lieutenant McCawley. You haven't seen "Mr Walker, have you?", "behind you" he states and winks at Danny. I turn around and there he is. I walk into his open arms and hug him fitting perfectly between his arms. He kisses the top of my head, I look up to him and smile, "you looked in your zone today", "yeah, I guess. It's not everyday you see two parts of one leg" he laughs, "no its not, thank god" I giggle. "When's your break?" I implore, "in exactly 25 seconds".

We walk hand in hand to one of the sofas, Danny pulls me down into his lap and cradles me into him. Rafe returns with a bunch of their Co-Pilots and gate crash our time. Still sitting in his lap, I move a centimetre if that and suddenly there is a quiet grown released. Not by me. By Danny. Rafe seems to be the only other one to capture it and smirks to us. Lieutenant Red, Billy, Anthony, and Gooz sit down in front of us next to Rafe. "So Cuties", Anthony emphasises on the cuties in a teasing manor. We look to him, "hooked up yet?", danny stares at him, no let me re-phrase that, glares at him, death glares. I take hold of his hand, he looks to me and smiles, "Have you?" I ask anthony, "have I what?" he questions, "'hooked up with anyone' yet?. Oh no. Sorry" I spit back, rafe and danny laugh, "she's got a bite to her", he directs his statement to Danny, "she. Is in the same room as you. So instead of telling my boyfriend that, tell me. We're adults Anthony, you got anything to say to me, say to me not to my boyfriend". He looks in shock, "speechless? never had a women put you in your place before?", Red looks near to explode with laughter. The bells chime, signaling that it is time for the boys to get back to work. Anthony gets up and walks away with a hostile glare. Rafe smiles at me, "Lieutenant Ellie, remind me to never get on your bad side" Rafe utters.
