"Calm down little girl" I said placing my hand on top of my stomach. She was moving around like crazy and it was evident when you could see my belly move under my shirt. I walked down the hallway and knocked on Vinnie's game room before entering "hey what are you in the mood for?" He turned and signaled he was streaming.

"Sorry" I mouthed before shutting the door. I walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch, 'man I don't know how people make being 8 months pregnant look so easy.' I picked up the note book and looked at the names Vinnie and I have wrote we still haven't been able to choose one. I started naming off names and she moved when I said one, "Ember" I said again and I felt a slight kick.

I smiled down at her "okay my beautiful Ember" I felt the couch dip beside of me. "How are my two favorite girls doing?" "Your daughter just chose her name" I laid my head on his shoulder while he place his hand on my belly "is that so?" I hummed "she chose Ember" "I love it" he said looking at me then giving me a kiss it was quick but full of love. "Ember May" I said proud of the middle name I thought of "Ember May Hacker" Vinnie said smiling.

"Four more weeks" I smiled "are you ready?" He gave a little laugh "never thought I'd ever be ready but we've prepared as much as we could." We still have to paint the nursery and he still has to put the furniture together for the room, he needs to get going because this baby could come at any moment due date or not. "Vinnie" he hummed in response as I sat up and looked at him "please set up the furniture tomorrow" "okay baby I promise I will."

I knew he probably wouldn't so I decided to text Chase and Alex to see if they could come either get him motivated or help him do it. Kouvr and I were going out tomorrow to get the paint for the room, we decided on a nice lavender color. It was both calming and a pretty color and we both agreed that it would brighten the baby's room.

"Alright I'm heading out!" I yelled as I was struggling to get my shoes on. He walked in from the nursery "let me help you" I sat on the couch and let him put my shoes on for me, "thank you Vinnie" I smiled and then gave him a kiss. I opened the door and Chase was already there getting ready to knock "come on in Chase" I said getting out of his way.

"Hey thanks y/n" I gave him a slight nod before sliding past him so I could go over to the hype house. Once I arrived I went in and found Kouvr she was giving Alex a hug before he left to go help Vinnie, "ready to go?" She asked turning around "totally" I replied following her to her car.

"So I was thinking maybe we could make today like a girls day." I thought for a minute "well my feet don't hurt as bad as they have been I think that would be fine" she smiled "great!" We stopped at a place to get a pedicure where they message your feet and make them look pretty. I'd be lying if I say it didn't feel like heaven I think I really needed this I have been crabby and snappy for most of my pregnancy and Vinnie is such a saint for dealing with me.

Vinnie's POV
"Come on man we have been at this for an hour and I know you could use a break" Chase said standing up. "I told her I'd have this done by the time she got back I can't" he rolled his eyes "man you were fun before all of this happened" what he said got under my skin a little if he wants fun I'll show him fun.

I got up from sitting in the floor "come on" I said walking out grabbing my keys "that's more like it" he said slapping both hands on my shoulder as he followed along with Alex. We went to a club about an hour away I mentally had a time in mind that I was gonna leave by but I wasn't going to tell them just for Chase to call me not fun again, the baby hasn't changed anything. Once in there almost all of the girls have noticed us wanting to talk to us. Alex turned each one down but Chase on the other hand he fed into all of the attention then I felt someone brush up against my hand on the bar.

"Hey there" she flashed me a little smile "I'm Chelsea and you?" I gave a little smile "Vinnie" she took a seat beside of me as I took another shot, Alex was out designated driver I didn't have to worry about not drinking too much. "Where are you from Vinnie?" "Seattle but I came to California after kinda blowing up on TikTok" we talked to what seemed like hours taking shot after shot with each other laughing and goofing off. "So Vinnie are you single?" She moved in a little closer the question I have been dreading her to ask all of this with y/n has happened so fast I honestly don't know if I want her to be my forever.

I sighed "it's complicated" was all I said before I turned back to her. It was nice to talk to someone who wasn't ordering me around of having an attitude every five seconds, I know she couldn't help it but it did get on my nerves a little. "Would you like to elaborate?" "not really I just want to be here in the moment with you" her smile was so radiant.

Your POV

I checked my phone again to see it was after 3am he's never stayed out this late before. I heard a car pull up and looked out the window. Alex was driving and I could see Vinnie get out of the car with Chase and what looks like two girls. I walk out of the house I'm not going to let him bring another girl into this house, "what do you think you're doing? Where have you been?" He just looked at me and rolled his eyes "why does it matter?" "who is this girl?" he grabbed her hand and said "this is Chelsea" she waved and all I could do was look at her in disgust "Vinnie you are not bringing her into this house" he just shrugged "okay come on Chelsea we'll go to Chase's" and with that he turned around but not before hollering at Alex to drive them all there "Vinnie dude she's pregnant with your baby" he said trying to talk some sense into the drunk man.

Vinnie was getting visibly upset with Alex but soon Alex turned to me with an apologetic look after Vinnie said he would just drive himself. He walked back to the car and that's when I watched them drive off. I turned with tears in my eyes and went to lay in my bed I can't believe he would do something like this especially with a child on the way.
