I was eight centimeters dilated and they just gave me an epidural which I'm not going to lie freaked me out a little bit because it was a huge needle going into my spine. Vinnie stood beside me and held my hand all the way through and didn't say anything when I happened to squeeze it a little bit too hard, "feeling any better?" he asked "it helped but this is still going to be painful" and with that as if I said the magic word another contraction hit. I scrunched my face and I felt a tear slip out but it was quickly wiped away with a thumb, I opened my eyes and seen Vinnie looking worried but I tried to give him a reassuring smile.

Two hours went past and the clock was slowly creeping up to 2:00am until I got another powerful contraction and when the doctor checked me I was finally ten centimeters dilated and then she got everything ready for me to push. "Alright push" I squeezed Vinnie's hand and pushed with everything I had in me until she told me to stop and take a few breaths, I was sweating and crying and I was in pain that I can't event describe. I pushed for almost an hour and finally I heard the baby's cried fill the room which automatically made everything worth it.

The nurse let me hold my baby and allowed skin to skin contact happen, seeing her beautiful face made me cry I looked up at Vinnie who was looking at the life in my arms and he started to cry as well. The nurse took her to she could clean her up and get her in the nursery, I had to push the afterbirth out but after that I was cleaned and left to rest. "Did you see the little life we created?" he asked I smiled "she's absolutely beautiful" "just like her mother" he added and looked at me. "I wanted nothing more to hug and kiss him but I just couldn't "I'm going to go check on her" he said leaving the room and when he left my phone sounded alerting me that I had a message I looked at it and seen it was Chelsea, how'd she get my number?

Vinnie's POV

Ember looks so precious sleeping and I can't believe I'm a dad, I watched Y/n go through this whole thing and she was so strong. She has to be the strongest women I have ever met, I can't believe how I treated her that night like she was nothing to me and the girl I picked up was everything how could I choose someone over her? I was caught in a bad patch and I took the easy way out when I should have stuck beside her and our baby but now that chapter was over, this new chapter involved me and Ember.

I turned my phone back on so I could capture her sleeping but when I did I seen sixty missed calls from Chelsea and a bunch of texts from her. I called her back after I snapped the picture because no one comes before my daughter and that's how its going to stay.

"Hello?"

"Why did you call me like sixty times?"

"Well because you weren't answering silly I wanted to see you"

"That wouldn't have happened Chelsea you know that I was here at the hospital watching my daughter be born"

"Still? God could she have taken any longer? She does know that her dad has another special girl in his life"

What she said left a sour taste in my mouth "what do you mean?"

"Me of course! You do realize that I can't have her interfering with me and you that's why she's going to stay with the witch that you decided was worthy to bare your child, you're still young sweetheart live it up and let her deal with it"

She called my daughter and it and thought I would let it slide? Oh hell no. I sped walked outside of the hospital so I didn't get kicked out when I started to yell at her.

"Listen here don't you EVER call my daughter an it do I make myself clear? And yeah I have two special girls in my life y/n and Ember and I wouldn't trade it for the world. You know what Chelsea? Stay away from me and my family don't call me and don't text me. Lose my number and you will be blocked from anything on mine and Y/n's phone."

"Vinnie I-"

I hung up on her and took a deep breath and looked around luckily there wasn't anyone around me to hear me yell at someone I really didn't need that on the internet. I really want to fix things with y/n but I don't know if her and Tayler have a thing after what I seen yesterday. I headed back inside and made my way to her room so I can basically beg for forgiveness and hope she wants this just as much as I do.

Your POV

I called Chelsea because she asked me to do so.

"Hello?"

"Hey did you need Vinnie? He stepped out but I could go find him for you"

"No no you're having a baby don't move around"

"Already had her"

"Congratulations!"

"Thank you" I found myself smiling at her congratulations "What else did you need if you don't mind me asking"

"Well I called to tell you that you should give Vinnie another chance, I see the way he looks at you when you don't pay attention plus he looked like he was about to rip the head off of the guy you were with yesterday."

"I don't know..."

"Please try? I already broke it off and I have a feeling he's going to block my number when he get backs to your room, I kind of pissed him off"

Before I could answer Vinnie yanked my phone out of my hand and ended the call and then blocked the number. "Vinnie" I exclaimed "Y/n listen please I was dumb when I went out that one night I should have just stayed and done what I was told" he sat down facing me and grabbed my hands. "I drank too much and she wasn't moody which is no excuse I am just so sorry please give me a second chance" I smiled a little "I forgive you Vinnie" he smiled wide and grabbed my face and kissed me, "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that" he said as he rested his forehead on mine.
