Chapter 10

WAIT CHaPTER 10?!?!?! OmFg .0.

*Alice's POV*

I watch as Nicholas cries for his sister. I inch my fingers closer to his till they touch. I wrap my fingers around his and wait for a reaction. He looks at me, looks down at our hands, and smiles. I smile back and wait to get to the hospital. The ambulance stops and I look out the window. I see we have made it to the hospital and the two back doors of the ambulance. Delilah, Nicolas and I jump out first still holding Nicholas's hand. They take out Noemi's stretcher and rush her though the emergency doors. We run behind the stretcher and watch as a girl runs though the hallway with boy chasing her. She bumps into Noemi's stretcher and keeps running. I watched the two run past us. I get distracted watching them for a second but quickly focus back on Noemi. We rush in to the room number C-304 and the paramedics instantly slid Noemi off the stretcher on to the bed. We watch the paramedics strap many tubes to Noemi and before we have the chance to walk in, they shut the curtain in front of us.

"I'm going to go check out who's beside us ok?" I say still holding Nicholas's hand.

"I'm coming with you"

"No you need to stay here with your sister"

"No I'm coming with you" He was so stubborn

"Fine."

"HEY HEY WHAT AM I YOUR UGLY SWEATER?" Delilah yells which makes us all laugh

"Shh hufflepuff. Your gonna wake up the whole world"

"Okai I'm sorry then" She says sticking out her tongue

I giggle and walk over to the other side of the room. I peek though the crac in the curtains and don't see any doctors. Close is clear. I open up to see the same girl and boy from before. They are opening the curtain between them and Noemi.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you"

They spin around and shut the curtain. I chuckle and hold Nicholas's hand tighter.

"Who are you?" The girl says. She has bright blonde hair with blue bangs. She has dark blue eyes and a red puffy face. It looked like she was crying. She had a bit of black makeup under her eyes and from the look of it, it wasn't suppose to be there.

"Sorry for the rude interruption of my friend. I'm Delilah. Delilah Spooce. This is Nicholas Rantee," Nicholas waves his hand letting go of my hand, "And this is Alice Rutkowski" I wake with two fingers.

"And why are you here?" The boy asks. He has dirty blonde hair and a nice smile. He wears a red and black checkered hoodie with a pair of jeans. He has brown eyes and a few freckles.

"Oh oops. Forgot to mention that part. We are your new neighbours. My sister is in the hospital bed next to you" Nicholas says

"Oh ok. Well welcome I guess. I'm Penny Trammell. This is Mitc-" Penny starts but get interrupted by Nicholas

"Mitchell Hughes or Mitch for short. The Bajancanadian or Benja Kanada online."

"Smarty pants over here" I say

"More like a fan" Mitch says

"More like a stalker" Delilah says making us all laugh.

I stop for a second and hear my phone go off. I hear the soothing sound of my pointe ballet group dance go off "The new boy at the academy". I run for it and check the ID. Mom. I answer the phone.

"Hey Mom."

"Alice where are you?"

"I'm at the hospital"

"Did you have a Panic attack? What caused it this time?"

"No no mom Noemi, NIcholas's sister passed out from having a low."

"A low?"

"Mom a low blood sugar"

"Oh right right. You there with Delilah?"

"Yes."

"Ok then make sure you get home for 8. Your father is picking you up from the appartement. Also wish Noemi a get better soon!"

"Mom why can't I stay with you tonight?"

"Because you are on your father's week"

"What is Delilah sleeps over?"

"Ok fine."

"And Nicholas?"

"That's it then Alice. Only Delilah and Nicholas Ca Pish?"

"Ca pish"

"Call me later honey. Bye!"

"Bye"

I walk over to see Delilah and Nicholas socializing for once.

"Yo bebes you are sleeping over. Ok! Love kisses bye" I said walking in

"K as long as I can borrow a bra" Delilah says

"Deal" I say with a laugh

"Woah what about me? These triple D boobs can't hold themselves" Nicholas says with his hands on his breasts.

"Nicholas your boobs are smaller then Alice's, if that's even possible" Delilah says with a giggle

I nudge her and laugh with her. I see Penny and Mitch laugh with us. They seem like cool people. I would ove to get to know them better but it's already awkward enough.

"Hey we better get going. See you later I guess?" I say

"No no please stay. I like the company. If you don't mind" Penny says with a smile.

"Sure!"

I sit on the bottom of the bed and Nicholas and Delilah each grab a folding chair that was outside of the room.
