Chapter 3

*Penny's POV*

We stop and pick up a few kids like I guessed. It was time for me to get off since we were here in Montreal. I got a bit chocked up and felt a lump in my throat. Now I was truly going to be all alone.

"Bye Zack!"

"Take care of yourself young lady!"

"I will!" I say waving to Zach and walking off the train.

I tuck Cheyenne into my pocket so no ones could see her. I walked around dragging my suitcase with me. I finally come across a Tim Hortons and I could never pass on a good tims. I walk in and go to order. I reach in to my pocket and I almost completely forgot. I don't have a single cent. I walk up to the cashier and ash politely, "Excuse me but are you hiring?"
"Yea actrually. Can you clean dishes?"

"Yes."

"Can you work a cashier?"

"Yes"

"Can you make coffee?"

"Yes."

"Then you are hired! Stay work right away."

Surprised I thank the cashier who looks a bit releaved.

"Thank god we found someone. We've been looking for someone to run another cashier for months now!"

I gasp and run behind the food bar with my suit case. I walk in to the back and see a set of clothes.

I hear a the cashier shout, "Btw what's your name?"

"Penny. Penny Trammell"

"Here," the cashier walked in with a paper and a apron, "put this on".

I slip on the apron and see a blank name tag.
"And here take this" She says while sticking the paper on the name tag. It read Penny in blue sharpie.

I walk in to a hallway where there is tons of lockers. I open one and close the handle to my suitcase and put it in. I hold on to Cheyenne since I don't trust her in a locker by herself. I walk back out to see tons of people. Lines after lines.

"Common kid let's go!" Another worker shouts

"Oh right away!" I say with two thumbs up

I walk over to my new cashier and brush my blue bangs out of my face to see Bajancanadian in front of my eyes. I take a deep breath knowing that my inner fangirl can come out any second.

"Hi, may I take your order?"

"I'll have a medium ice capp and a maple glazed donut please..Penny" he says with that smile.

Oh how I just want to flip out and ask for his signature but I must be a mature adult. Since I was forced to be one even though I'm only 17 I must prove my mother wrong. I can do this.

"That will be $3.61 please." I try my best to smile but not smile too much to make Mitch uncomfortable.

Mitch pays me and I hand him his food. Man, he is even more beautiful in real life. My insides tingle when I take a order from Mat and Jerome after him. What is this? A dream? A nightmare? Is this god's way of repaying me for all those awful things I've been though?

The line is done so I walk over to a counter and lean on it. Just waiting for my break so I can sprint to Bajancanadian, NoochM and JeromeASF. I take cheyenne out of my pocket and start petting her.

"Animal!" A worker cries

"GET IT OUT!" another shrieks

"AHHHH!" others were yelling. It was madness

Then the cashier lady from before walks up to me. "What's that?" She says pointing to Cheyenne

"Oh this is Cheyenne. Cheyenne give kisses." And just like that I blew it. The happy expression on my bosses faces goes to a straight cold blooded anger.

"I WANT YOU OUT OF MY RESTAURANT THIS INSANT." She yells

"Right away." I say with a tremble

I run to grab my suitcase but a worker already has it in his arms. He opens it to see my laptop that he throws on the floor. Smashing in to millions of pieces. Every single thing I've ever done is on there. My life was on there. I watched it as it vanished from me ever so fast. I run and pick it up. I rip my suitcase out of the worker's hands and put my broken laptop back in the bag. I kick the worker and he kicks me back in the hip. Hard. I walk as fast and I could without falling over or crying but it didn't work. I bursted out crying. I hurried in to the bathroom where I balled my eyes out.
