"Ladies, we need you in the den," Alexa shouts out to all the females in the house. They all come in one by one and sit around the room. "So Y'all, it seams to be the time for the sex talk for our little one here." Looking over at Alexa, who is unimpressed with her right now, she has a cunning smirk on her face that would lead anyone to believe that butter wouldn't melt. "What honey, we've all had to have the talk, sugar. Trust me, it's your turn."
Looking around, I noticed one person was missing and found my way out. No way would they bring Gemma and Emma over. "Gemma is a virgin, as ya'll, and I don't think it's fair that I have to have the talk on my own" believing I was Scott free "Ah sure, she winks at me." Hanna, go invite Emma and Gemma, and see if it is okay for Gemma to join us for the talk."
As I sat and waited, they thought there was no way a complete stranger would let their daughter do this. I leaned back, arms over my head, eyes closed, listening to them chat and chuckle. Emma walked in with Gemma, looking ashamed, as Hanna closed the door behind them. "Oh honey, come take a seat next to our Sue," Alexa says.
"So Y'all it's that time. Our little Sue here has become a woman and has developed an interest in a little someone and, as you know, she's still innocent, as in a virgin, and she needs to know what to expect for making love for the first time." She stares at Lenna as she stands up, and Alex takes her chair.
Swallowing hard because I knew what was coming, and I knew I'd need therapy after this. "So Y'all Susan, your father is going to kill us all when he finds out we are encouraging you to have sex, safe sex' but still sex," she smiles as she winks. "So we all need to know who it is, how far you've gotten, and what you know. We can fill you in on it. What to Expect and What Not to Expect.
Everyone was watching her, waiting for the gossip. Shrugging, "Ya'll know Hanna and what she likes in the bedroom," they all laugh, even Hanna, although Emma appears perplexed and intrigued. "I'm not into Hanna's hellish lifestyle; it's not my cup of tea," I say, still sitting with my arms over my head while they laugh. After all these years, I've grown accustomed to my family, and nothing surprises me. Hanna seemed excited until I shut one down. Emma clears her throat. "do share." She seemed to enjoy the conversation already as she looks excited and waited for Hanna to tell her what she liked.
Hanna winks at Emma while she smiles at me, "So ma continue," before turning back to her and giving her daggers, hating her right now. Lenna turns and claps her hands together. Smiling again. Susan, Gemma, as I was saying," she looks at me again. "How far have you been with a boy? So we can advise and teach you how to be safe".
As I think about how to tell them, Gemma holds my hand in support as I turn to her, surprised that we had only just met and she was trying to comfort me when I should be comforting her. So I turn to them all, shrugging uneasily.
"Well, that is for me to know and you to figure out," I say standing up to leave. "Oh no, honey, sit that tushy back down," Katy says, chuckling. "Now come on, we just want you to be ready for when you decide to take the next step," she says, leaning over and rubbing my leg. Sighing, I lean back, close my eyes, and take a deep breath in "nothing I've done nothing, I haven't even had my first kiss yet, so laugh it up Y'all". The room becomes silent as they glance at each other, astonished. "But you've been to parties and stayed out and have done nothing at all, surprised. I was irritated now. "Yes, but
I don't drink, so I won't frolic about Sam. I protect my friends from making errors or being put in difficult situations. I refuse to have sex or kiss every guy I meet, and I always make sure they have condoms in their bag, since it is not just up to the male to be safe. What do you think I am? I'm sorry but I have respect for myself"
