You Are Enough

Chapter 5

" When I figured out I had a crush on Max it was because of the feelings I'd get whenever I was with him. I enjoy whenever he hugs me or compliments me. I feel safe when with him. And I can tell him anything ". Nat says in a quiet voice. Nunew nods while listening.
" How about you New. When did you figure it out. Im curious ". He blushes slightly. " Just this morning when I was outside. I had took out my phone to look at twitter. I eventually saw Max's post. Did you see the post? ". Nat nods his head. " I was embarrassed when I saw it.  I was basically on top of him with how much I was clinging to him. I kept thinking about how I'd face him. While thinking I caught myself saying he was my crush. It shocked me. I didnt really believed it until Hia Zee came and walked over to me. The way I reacted ". He covers his face in embarrassment.
" You should have seen how bad it was. I got so red and he teased me ". Nat laughs and pats his shoulder. " I've been there. They both tease us a lot " . New laughs. New doesn't have enough time to talk when there's a knock at the door.
" Can you guys unlock the door ". Nat and New look at each other. Communicating with our eyes. Before New opens the door to see both Max and Zee standing there. He quickly turns to walk back to Nat. Both are slightly panicking. Hoping that they did not hear their conversation.
Max is the first to speak. " Why did you two run off and lock yourself
in a room? ".  New and nat make eye contact for a split second. " I  wanted to tell Nat about something I saw on twitter. One of mine and Nats favorite actors had given me encouraging
words ". His voice comes out quick. He knows that the two could tell that its a lie. His suspicion that they could tell its a lie is confirmed when he hears Zee laugh.
" If you tell the truth or not its up to you. However right now I need to take Nunew to practice our lines. Nat you amd Max should practice your lines as well ". Zee walks over to him and grabs his hand. He then pulls him out of the room. Heading outside he figures out that Zee is taking him to the creek. After walking for a while they make it. And Nunew sees another chair besides his.
" Did you bring a chair here after breakfast ". He sees Zee nod. " I brought one so we can sit out here together
now ".  His cheeks turn a light pink.
When they both sit down he realizes something. " We forgot the scripts at the house ". He hears Zee laugh. " That was just a lie so me and you can spend time alone together while Max and Nat spend time together. He can feel himself turn bright red. " W-why did you want to spend time alone together ". He stutters out. Zee laughs while standing up and walking towards him. " Well why not? We are partners aren't we. Do you not like spending time alone with me ". New shakes his head no quickly and grabs Zee's arm. " Of course I like spending time with you hia. It was just sudden. And I was taken by surprise when you said that you lied ". The last part coming out in a quiet whisper.
Letting go of zee's arm he looks towards the creek. " d-did you and Max hear mine and Nats conversation " . He is afriad that they did. Hes also afraid that Nat would be angry with him if they did because after all, it was New who had started that conversation.
Zee gently grabs his chin and makes him look at him. New looks at him nervously.
" Why are you so curious if we herd your conversation ". New looks to the side trying to avoid eye contact. Zee's hand that had a hold of his chin has now moved to his cheek. Gently caressing it.
" I-im scared. I-it makes me really
scared ". He stutters out in almost a whisper. He turns to look at zee when he feels him let go of his cheek. Looking into Zee's eyes he trys to read what Zee is thinking. However he's unsuccessful. So when Zee pulls him into a hug he's taken aback. " H-hai? ". He's starting to put the pieces together. When he finally connects them he begins to panic. They had herd him and Nats conversation. He begins to try and get out of Zee's embrace. However Zee has him in a tight embrace. " Y-you herd it. You herd everything didnt you ". He says quickly. Zee only rubs his back gently trying to help calm him down but its impossible. He is to scared to hear what Zee's reaction is. Scared that Nat will be mad.
" Nat's going to be mad. I started talking about it first. I just wanted advice. I fucked up ". He begins to hyperventilate. Hes to panicked and his mind is going at a hundred miles per second. Zee grabs his shoulders. " New, take deep breaths. No one is mad at you. You are ok everything is fine ". When Zee realizes that's not working he tells New to copy his breathing. " In and Out , In and out ". When he is finally breathing normal Zee is gently rubbing his shoulders.
" I didn't know you would have that reaction. Im really sorry New ". He just shakes his head. " No one can predict their own reaction. I just ". He stops himself and looks into Zee's eyes before he continues. " I just dont even know what to say ". He looks down at his hands. Not wanting to look at Zee anymore. " New, look at me please ". He slowly lifts his head to look at him.
" Nat would not be mad at you. You guys are best friends. He will understand that it was an accident that me and Max herd you guys. He honestly might even be thankful. Did you know Max likes him as well ". He smiles. Happy that they both like each other. However his smile quickly disappears. " W-what about you. What did you think ". His voice coming out in a quiet whisper as he looks to the side. Mentally preparing himself for rejection. " I was shocked at first but I became excited. Because I found out that the person I liked has the same feelings as I do ". He quickly turns to Zee. Looking at him with wide eyes. " Y-you like me ". He ask as his face turns bright red. " I have since before we started filming the series. I thought I was being obvious ". He hears zee say. New stands up quickly. Startling Zee who is kneeling in front of the chair. However Zee quickly stands up as well. " Have you been hitting on me this entire time! ". He asked in a shocked voice. Was he completely oblivious to Zee flirting with him. He feels Zee gently grabs his cheek.
" I think everyone besides you could tell I was hitting on you ". New cant help but feel a bit sorry hearing this. " Im sorry im so oblivious. It probably hurt your feelings ". Zee laughs. " Quite the opposite actually. It made me like you more. It was cute at how oblivious you were ". New pouts. " Im so embarrassed. Today has been nothing but embarrassing ". He crosses his arms.
" Do you know how embarrassing it is to tell your friend you like someone. How embarrassing it is to find out that your crush herd you talking about you liking them. To find out that your crush has been flirting with you yet you- ". He gets cut off when Zee kisses him. He freezes.
" You talk a lot when you're sulking ". News face that had just gone back to the normal color has once again turned bright red. " Y-you just kissed me. And it wasn't acting ". He can see Zee smirking.
" Take it as an apology for making you embarrassed ". New composed himself before taking a step closer to Zee. Which in return makes Zee raise an eyebrow.
" You cant just kiss me like that and expect me to forgive you ". He pretends to be mad. He turns to walk away when Zee grabs his wrist and pulls him quickly. Causing him to crash into Zee's chest. Looking up towards Zee's face he freezes. Theres only a couple inches between them. He sees Zee look at his lips.
He doesn't know where he gets the courage from but he pulls Zee by the neck and kisses him. Zee is quick to kiss him back. The kiss deepens and New is glad that Zee had grabbed a hold of his waist when he kissed him because his knees became weak.
Out of breathe new pulls away. The courage he has just had is now completely gone. He can only stare at Zee in shock by what he just did. Which makes Zee laugh. " Is all your confidence gone now ". He looks away. " You're teasing me ". He feels Zee rub his head.
" Fine, if you dont want me to tease you theres something that you can do ". He turns to look at Zee once more.
" Be my boyfriend and I wont
tease you ". His eyes widened. " Is that even allowed to happen? ". Is all he could think to ask. " Might have asked Aof if dating is allowed to which he replied yes ". He playfully hits Zee's chest. " You had everything planned out didnt you ". Zee just pulls New into a hug. " I did in fact. So what is your answer ". New hugs him back. " Isn't my answer obvious. Have you become the oblivious one ". He teases Zee. Causing both of them to laugh.
