How Do I Move On?

After their first encounter, Grian and Mumbo had developed a newfound friendship. The two had met up almost everyday after Grian closed up shop to just hang out.

Grian couldn't admit it, but he had started to develop feelings for the taller man as they started to learn more about each other.

He loved the way Mumbo got flustered whenever he was flirted with and how he was so smart with gadgets.

It had been about six months since the two had met in such strange circumstances and Grian called Mumbo to his shop for a very important announcement.

"Hey, mate! You sounded pretty worried over the phone, is everythin' alright?" Mumbo asked as he entered the shoppe. Grian took a deep breath before grasping Mumbo's hand and leading him to the back room and upstairs to his living quarters.

"I just thought we needed some privacy for this." Grian said sheepishly as he sat down at his dining room table.

Mumbo took a seat across from Grian at the small table and waited for Grian to say something.

"This is gonna sound weird, but as I've gotten to know more about you, I… I started to fall in love with you, Mumbo…" Grian refused to look his friend in the eyes as he admitted his feelings.

Mumbo gently grasped Grian's hand that was set on the table, causing the brunette to look up with a soft blush creeping across his cheeks.

"To be quite honest, I started to fall as soon as we met!" Mumbo said with a quirky smile and flushed cheeks.

Grian exhaled a breath that he didn't realise he was holding and smiled at Mumbo. "So does that mean you'll be my boyfriend?" Mumbo nods which makes the smaller male blush deeper and smile happily.

"C-Could I kiss you?" Mumbo asks with a deep scarlet engulfing his cheeks. "I don't see why not!" Grian chuckles.

Mumbo cups Grian's cheek softly and pulls him into a kiss. When the two break away, Grian is blushing at how good that felt.

"Where did you learn to kiss that good?" Grian joked. "I've had my moments." Mumbo smiled.
