It's complicated

Beginning

Zea POV;

I was texting my friends with my head facing my phone as I was walking to the store

Then all of a sudden somebody bumped into me and made me drop my phone

I looked up with an angry expression on my face to see Kayden

"Kayden I are to fuck you up, this the third time this week" I said

He replied with a shrug and was boutta walk away but I pushed him, and ,while he was falling He tripped me  and I fell right on top of him

We were so close that we could've kissed and then I heard a ding from my notifications, I hurriedly got up my and picked my cracked phone up from the concrete

As I was walking away he got up and grabbed my phone as it was open

I kicked him in his leg and he let out an "OW WHAT THE FUCK" and gave me my phone back aggressively

I laughed and said "that's what yo Dumbass get" as I kept walking

I was almost to the store by now and he kept following me trying to figure out who it was that had my phone blowing up

I ignored him and that kinda irritated him so he pushed me a little bit

I pushed him back with all my manly strength and he went tumbling again on the sidewalk

I started cracking up and ran and he got up and started running after me until we reached the store

Since I was in track and did cheer when i was young I was fast so he was out of breath

I grabbed the snacks I wanted and was going to pay but he payed for me so I grabbed my snacks and kept walking, but he was right by my side which was strange because he was in and out of relationships and at the moment he was in one

But I payed him no mind,

at this point I was halfway home and we were just talking and walking and then he asked " so who You like in our school?" out of nowhere

"nobody for real because everybody in our school is not my type and never really come off as boyfriend material" I replied

I asked him the same question even tho I already knew and he said "lauryn" whom I hated for literally every reason

She was so bratty and was such a pick me girl but was so well known around the school that nobody really cared, she treated everyone the same except me and my group of friends

But me mainly because I was good friends with Kayden and she always liked him

And now that they were dating it was gonna be hell fire for me because he always talks to me and barely pays attention to her

I didn't really bother to ask him why he was walking me home since we lived literally on the same block

But I did wonder why he was walking me home because he never did that so I asked "Kayden what do you want?"

He replied saying "what you mean, I can't walk with my friend now?"

"You can walk with me, that's fine, but you never walk with me home or even in school, plus you just payed for my stuff so what gives?" I said

He looked at me and I looked at him and then it was silence which I hated because I just hated silence and the concept of being quiet

He knew this and after like 10 minutes, broke the silence by saying "I don't know, you were just walking the same direction I was"

I rolled my eyes at him which set him off so he walked closer to me and said "Who you rolling your eyes at little girl?"

I replied "you, who else?" So he started walking towards me buffing his chest like he was about to do something so I raised my fist and he backed down

We arrived at my house and my mom knew him so she said "hey son" and he said "hey momma"and hugged her

He said "you need to tell your daughter to keep her hands off me"

I looked at him and he looked at me slightly, then to my mom

She said "keep your hands off Kayden, zea"

I said "wow mom, you gonna take his side after all that he put me through"

She said "whatcha mean?"

"He ran up on me while I was walking to the store and pushed me so I pushed him
Back and th-"

He cut me off and said "she lying"

I looked at him awestruck like he just committed a crime in front me

"What?! Kayden I'm not about to argue with a lying ass boy like you" as I pointed to him and was walking to take a seat on the island chair

My mom walked away laughing slightly and said "how about this, keep y'all hands off each other"

We said "ok" and me and Kayden said our goodbyes and then he left

I went to my room, set my things down on my bed then got ready for bed since it was 6:30

I  layed down,and heard my phone ringing and picked it up to see my bestie serenity FaceTiming me

I answered the phone and she said "heyyyyyyy,bestieeeeee how was your day girly?"

I said "heyyyyyyy,it was good,how was yours?"

She replied with "it was straight,don't really wanna talk about it but what made your day so good?"

I replied with "First you gotta tell me about your day if I'm telling you about mine and second it was good because I got a bunch of snacks from the store"

She said "Fine,fine I'll tell you about mine just tell me about your first!"

"Ok so I woke up obviously, I got dressed brushed my teeth you know all that stuff and took pictures then I changed into my sweatpants set with a t-shirt and walked to the store in Which I ran into Kayden" I said

"Kayden!!what happened,Spill like now" she said

"I am if you would let me finish! Ok so at first I was walking by myself to the store and then his ass bumped into me and made me drop
And crack my phone so I proceeded to push him and then he tripped me, so while he was falling I fell right on top of him..."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh, omg whattttt!!"

"Calm down girl, anyways we were almost kissing that's how close we were and then, that's when my phone went off and I got off of him and started walking away and then he grabbed my phone and started trynna see who was texting me so I kicked his leg and he said "ow,what the hell?!" But I really didn't care and told him that's what his Dumbass gets and so then I started walking away and he was following me and he kept trying to figure out who I was texting and I was ignoring him so he pushed me and I pushed him back with full force and he fell and tumbled on the sidewalk which sent me laughing and running which led to him running after me and then me reaching the store and him paying for my stuff and then us walking back home and then him going to his house"

"Well I see your evening was eventful" she said as she smirked

"Shut up" and we both started laughing

after hours on the phone and dinner we finally fell asleep together
