Serenity POV;
I woke up with a bad headache, I sat up in the bed I was in and didn't recognize where I was, I saw jaydan sleeping next to me soundlessly and zea laying on the other side of me so I quietly crept out of the bed since it was like 4:30 a.m. in the morning and everyone was pretty much asleep
I went outside on the balcony to get some fresh air and felt a tall presence behind me
I looked back to see Ace
"I...apologize" he said and I kinda was shocked, I never knew a gang banger heartbreaker big boss wannabe knew how to apologize
"Your not forgiven" I replied, I had to be straight up with this dude
He ignored that and said "so why are you up?"
"Why?" I replied
"I'm just curious" he replied
"I couldn't sleep, My whole body aches" I replied "Why are you up?" I asked
"I just couldn't sleep with everything going on, can I share how I feel or..?" He asked
"Sure I guess" I said as we both sat down on the concrete floor
"It's just..I love you serenity to death and we went together real bad and now I ruined that all for some bitch I didn't even like, now you found yourself liking Xavier which I hate but know I deserve" he said
I looked at him blankly not really knowing what to say
"Well it's a good thing you can admit that to yourself, I think it's just time you move on, I already have so now it's time for you to do the same, it's no point in fighting for something that's not trying to fight for you" I replied
He stayed quiet trying to process everything that I just told him
"thanks for that, I needed it" he said as he got up and left
I eventually got up and did the same going back to my room and seeing that the time was now 5:00a.m. I went to sleep since there was nothing else to do
