*** I'm not sure why, but the song Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac kind of chose itself for this chapter...so ummmm, yeah. Listen to it, it's actually a really great song! Although I may just be saying that because I'm turning into a Misty Day....***
I refused to open my eyes out of fear that I would see the blood moon again. My heart was racing as I heard the sound of breathing from two people very close to me. I could feel my magic charging up, ready to blast whoever was there away, when suddenly I was slapped off of my bed. Wait... my bed?
"WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU IMMORTAL PIECE OF SHIT!" shouted my favorite redhead. Jumped to my feet and hugged her so hard, she had to pinch my neck for me to let go. Then I realized that there was another person in the room. I peered around her to see Laila sitting calmly in a chair in the corner, checking her perfectly manicured nails.
"Uhhh, no offence... I think you're really cool and all, but why are you in my house? I literally just met you today." I said to vampire. She opened her mouth to speak, but was quickly interrupted by Hannah.
"Look, I love you and all, but if you think I was going to carry your ass all the way to your house by myself, you might want to think of getting a new best friend." She said without pausing for breath. Laila just sat there, her eyes flickering back and forth between us.
"So, do you want me to leave? Or what?" Laila finally asked, breaking the silence.
"She helped me carry you're useless ass, so I say she stays." Hannah followed up behind her.
"Well then, welcome to the club. You must past the initiation." I said wryly, a smile beginning to dance on my lips. My eyes darted to Hannah, who was already grinning wickedly. Sometimes, it was great to have a best friend who thought just like you.
"So what's this 'initiation' that you're referring to?" Our new vampiryic initiate asked uncertainly
"Stand up." Hannah and I said in unison. Laila complied
"Now close your eyes." We commanded. "All of them, including your mind's eye." I added quickly. She closed her eyes, and read her to aura to make sure she completely followed our instructions. Now the next part was going to be tricky. Using as little magic as possible, I silently levitated Hannah and me off the ground and floated up to either side of Laila.
"On the count of three?" I offered in my mind, using our old telepathy link
"Wouldn't it be on the thought of three?" was her chuckled reply.
"God I hate you." I shot back "Okay ready? One."
"Two."

"Three!" we shouted simultaneously. I released the spell and we fell in towards our new vampire friend, each of us licking one of her cheeks. I had never licked a vampire cheek, but it tasted like regular cheek to me. We hit the floor and quickly darted to the other side of the room, turning to look back at a wide-eye vampire with two wet cheeks.
"I swear on all the years I have lived, if you ever do something like that again, I will destroy you, and everything in a 5 mile radius." She said, her voice shaking. Hannah and I looked at each other, and then fell onto one another, laughter erupting from the two of us.
"I find none of this humorous in the slightest bit." Laila said dryly.
"Okay, we'll stop." I said, wiping tears from my eyes.
"Yeah, we're sorry. " Hannah apologized.
"Humph. Whatever." Was our newest member's nonchalant reply. "So anyway, what was that all about earlier? What could make a super powerful witch faint like a little girl? The light mood briefly darkened, and I could tell that I had unknowingly made a face that told them how I felt.
"Well," my voice quivering, "what happened was...."
