*Heeyy Guys! I finally found some free time. I just finished my final exam and we had to use computers (yaaay technology!) So here's a new chappy. also the song for this chapter is blue jeans by Lana Del Rey. its a great song so listen to it*
The bell rang, signaling, that it was time for school to start. For some reason, that pep-rally took only 10 minutes. Not that I'm complaining. Any longer and somebody would have become a bird. Preferably a parakeet. So me and Hannah began our descent from the top of the bleachers to the gymnasium floor. WE passed Mr. Hot stuff, only to hear him doing baby talk with that hideous-thing-of-a- girlfriend he has. I whined a little bit when stepped out into the hallway. IT JUST WASN'T FAIR!
"Shut up you whiny twit", Hannah said in response to my whine. "He's straight. Get over it. Let it go".
"NEVVEEERRRR!!!" I screeched in the middle of the hallway. Nobody even paid me any attention. I guess when you're new to a school, and a freshman nobody really pays you attention. This was horrible! I froze in the middle of the hallway. Han stopped and turned around, a confused look in her eyes.
"What is it? What's wrong? Are you sick? Are you dying? Do you need a rainbow transfusion? Is your unicorn sick?" She began to fire off rapidly. I slapped my hand over her mouth and pulled her into the nearest corner.
"Nobody is paying attention to me" I whispered. "NOBODY IS GIVING ME ANY ATTENTION!!! I NEED ATTENTION HANNAH! I NEED LIKE A DRUG! AND I- hold on, a rainbow transfusion? What the hell is that?"
"I don't know, but I thought you might know." Came her reply. "Anyway, what do you have for first period? "
"Ummm... I never got my uhh... my schedule..." I said, looking to the floor. "I forgot!!!! And I just thought that I would get some notice or something! I didn't know I was supposed to actually go and get it myself! I'M TO YOUNG TO BE INDEPENDENT!!!" I yelled at the end. Hannah just looked at me with that look that says 'You're weird and I love you for it'. I loved that look! Before I could say anything, she grabbed my hand and led me somewhere. We didn't stop until we reached a room that said 'Student Resources' above the door.
"Now go get your schedule so we won't be late" Hannah said with authority. She's like a little mom!
"Yes ma'am!" I said to her with a mock salute. After going in there and getting my schedule from the clerk, whose name was Dianne, Hannah and I rushed to our first class of the day, which ended up being Language arts. I love language arts!
"I hate language arts." I groaned quietly.
We've only been here for 5 minutes. Class hasn't even started yet."
"Oh yeah."
We were just sitting ion the back of the classroom, killing time. Other students wandered into the classroom. I carefully and meticulously took in the features of my classmates. Let one of them try to cross me, and they die. It was all very boring. Humans and their predictable auras, with their normal-ness.
"Class I would like to welcome a special new student to the area. Her name is Laila." Mrs. Teddinson, our teacher addressed the class.
This new girl. She was what I needed. Her long, dark hair was spiraled into perfect curls at the tips. She was my height, which I could discern without needing to stand next to her. She wore a fairly simple white V-neck t-shirt with a floral jacket and blue jeans. Her mocha skin showed with her feet which were painted a nice coral color. She exuded confidence. And why wouldn't she? She was a vampire after all.
* SOOO WHADDAYA THIINNKK????? im really enjoying this now. its getting easier to write! and i can include people and stuff in the story. but this will remain my story. But anything you think could make it a better it, go ahead and tell me!!!! love you guys!*
