* sooo... im actually surprised i can keep this going. all i got in my brain is the ending...and the sex scenes... soo i have no idea where this story is going :D it'll be a surprise for everybody. also the song for this chapter is Blue Velvet by Lana Del Rey... it doesn't really tie in... its just been stuck in mah brain!*
She walked to the back of the room and took a seat to my left. After she sat down, i proceeded to mentally go ape-shit.
'OHHHMEERRRRGAAAHHHHDDD!!!! SHE'S A VAMPIRE!!! THERE'S A VAMPIRE IN MY SCHOOL!!! I'M NOT THE ONLY IMMORTAL HERE!!! Oh wait. maybe shes not immortal. Are vampires immortal? I think they are....yeah, they are. YEAAHH!!! I HAVE ANEW IMMORTAL FRIEND!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh my gosh that laugh just scared me. Maybe i should talk to her. That would be a good idea....'
" MR. UMBRA! Would you like to share the thoughts that have you distracted with the rest of the class?" Mrs. Teddinson asked.
"Uhhhhh.... not really.... " I said, shrinking in the seat. Hearing Hannah chuckle under her breath, i shot her daggers that would kill her if I let them. I looked to my left and saw Laila with a smirk on her face.
"Good. Now as I was saying class, since its the beginning of the year and I also have a life, you will all be working in groups of four to work on the assignment for the story we will be reading. It is Homer's The Odyssey. The assignment is being passed out now. Please read the directions carefully." With that she returned to her desk. She thinks shes sooo cool because she's still in her 20's. And because she's tall, blond, with hazel eyes and a body most women would kill for. I think she did kill for it. I wouldn't be surprised.
" Pssssst. Laila. Wanna work with us?" I whispered amongst the chatter of the class. If she were a normal human, she wouldn't have heard it. She turned to me and flashed a brilliant smile.
"Sure." She moved a chair and sat between me and in Hannah, but in front of us.
"OMG GURRRRLL YOU IS GORGEOUUSS!!" Hanna squealed before i could say anything. I looked at her with the straightest straight face I could have
"Really bitch? As soon as she sits down? I swear.... Death. Just death. Go die." I said in a monotone voice.
"Haha, you mad bro?" Was her reply. I mentally killed her 17 ways while I stared at her.
"Annywaayyss, What brings you to California? I thought vampires burst into flames in sunlight?" I stated bluntly. I wasn't worried about anyone overhearing us. I had already used a spell that would make people instantly forget hearing anything I didn't want them remembering over the entire class. But she didn't know this. Her mouth dropped open and her eyes bulged. Hannah looked back and forth between us.
"What? She's a vampire? GREAT! One more stupid supernatural being whose ass I'm gonna have to kick if they step out of line." She said leaning back into her chair and crossing her arms.
"That means you're her one of her best friends now" I translated to a confused looking Laila. "Soo.. What brings you here, Laila....." I trailed off since i didn't know her last name.
"Beaudoux." She stated, her eyes glinting a deep blue for a second. " And we came because we got bored of living in places with no sunlight. Vampires stopped bursting into flames from sunlight CENTURIES ago. How did you you know I was a vampire?" She asked.
"Because I'm Thomas Umbra, most powerful witch.Ever.' I said, my naturally purple eyes glowing with power.
"And I'm Hannah Jones, his best friend and fellow Ginger." Hannah added. Laila and I both looked at her. "What?" she asked. "We were introducing ourselves, and I'll be damned if i get left out" She giggled.
We started wasting time by talking when someone walked up to our little group. It was Brian Morales, resident Colombian sexy beast of the freshman class. Even though he was already 16. The added age made him sexier in my book. He was about 5'11, with curly brown hair and olive skin. He had the most gorgeous grey eyes i had ever seen! But knowing my luck with guys, he probably came over for Laila or Hannah
"Hey." he said. just standing there.
"Hey." The three of us answered back in unison.
"Soo, uhh Hannah, can i join you guys?" He asked
'Bingo. I knew it.'
"Sure." Hannah replied, batting her lashes.
Just as he sat down, the bell rang to go to our next class. Laila , Hannah and I compared schedules to find we all had P.E. next.
"YAAAAAY!!! GET TO BE TOGETHER MOREEE!!!!" I yelled.
"I swear, I will drain your body dry and leave you in an alley if you ever do that again." Laila threatened, flashing her fangs.
"Ohhh, please do!" Hannah mock begged her.
"I DO WHAT I WANT!!!" I screamed at them before running out of the classroom and bumping right into a wall
*** this was actually supposed to be a filler chapter. it turned out being more. i surprised myself!! also its summer yaal! :D which means ill probably post more... maybe once a week? every two weeks? i dunno. and heres a fun tip! use rub a dryer sheet over skin areas thall be exposed before you go outside and leave the dryer sheet in your pocket to repell mosquitoes and gnats! and rub the inside of a banana peel over mosquitoe bites to stop the itching. that was two facts ._. my bad. oh well. but remember. I SAVED YOUR LIFE!!!***
