Awakened Fates: The Beginning

Chapter 1: "Awakened Conflict"

     Hours before the release, in an empire named The Three World Empire located inside a forest, a man is seen running towards the empire as a group of monsters follow him. He keeps on running until he hears a voice calling out for him. "Over here!" a woman with blonde hair wearing knight armor shouts. He spots the woman standing on top of a wall and decides to go in her direction. He runs near the wall to find a gate and to find a group of summoners waiting for him. The summoners then summons a group of warriors that charges forward and vanquishes the monsters as the man runs inside the gate and breathes deeply as he stops.

     "You are a commander yet here you are being chased by a group of monsters with no weapons," the woman says to him as she approaches and looks at him. "Just wanted to walk around the forest," he replies. "You really need to be more careful, Commander Emmett Leonheart," the woman says. The man looks at her says that he will. "For a commander, you can be careless in some points," the woman states as she looks to Emmett. Emmett and the woman talk to each other and have discussed each of their ideas and plans in what to do in the army. Hours later, they manage to discuss what is needed and both are about to leave but then they feel an unusual earthquake.

     They hurriedly run towards the wall and lookout to find a mysterious-looking crystal emerging from the ground. "What is happening, Aria?" Emmett says to the woman. "I don't know," she replies. "But I got a bad feeling about this," she adds. As both wonders about the crystal, they both stop wondering as they see the crystal glowing which indicates it is about to summon something. The crystal summons entities that start to head towards the walls looking hostile and ready to attack. Without hesitation, Emmett calls out for his summoners to tell the army to get to them then, tells them to be ready. As the entities go closer to the walls, the army eventually is summoned to the location by the summoners and goes outside to position themselves. "Defend the gates at all cost!" Emmett shouts to the army as the army finalizes their position ready for the incoming attackers.

     The attackers reach them and attack them but they all are vanquished by the army. The army relaxes after the attack and is about to enter back the gates as Emmett and Aria sigh in relief but then, the crystal summons another group of entities that starts to head towards the gates. "Hold your position!" Emmett screams as the army hears him and repositions themselves. The next attackers arrive but are killed as the army slightly suffers from a few casualties. Unease, Emmett tells the army to remain in their positions as he observes the crystal's behavior while Aria looks worried beside him.

     The crystal summons another wave of entities and Emmett realizes what they need to do. "Charge and destroy the crystal!" he says as the army shouts back in agreement. The army charges forward as they vanquish any charging entities on their way and manage to destroy the crystal. Relieved, Emmett declares victory to the army and the army shouts happily to his declaration. The atmosphere starts to feel calmer but then another shaking happens and a new crystal emerges and summons entities just like the previous crystal but brings a new type of entities.

     Emmett sees this and shouts to the army to look out for the second crystal and destroy it. They followed Emmett's commands and managed to destroy the crystal while suffering from casualties and exhaustion, but it did not end there. Another crystal appears bringing new kinds of entities that shocks Emmett, Aria, and the army. As one crystal gets destroyed, another one emerges. As one crystal emerges, more casualties happen. Aria decides to join the battlefield as Emmett consults his summoners to summon units and to summon new types of entities for backup. After the nineteenth crystal, no crystal seemingly emerged once more and no new types of entities seemingly stops to summon. Emmett takes this opportunity and tells the army to retreat and aid themselves.

     The army relieves themselves as they heal the injured and nourished themselves to restore stamina and energy. Emmett looks at the army, worried and uneasy, as he worries about what will happen next. Aria taps his shoulders and calls Emmett's name. He looks at her and sees her partially exhausted. "What in the world is happening?" she asks him with a concerned look. He looks at her but never answered as he has the same question. Aria understands him and decides to tell him that he does not need to answer. Hours later, a shaking happens and the twentieth crystal appears. Emmett and the army alongside Aria hurriedly come to the walls and prepare to charge forward.

     They manage to defeat the entities and reach the crystal, They are about to destroy the crystal but then, it cracked which releases a wind that pushes the army and Aria back which Emmett witnesses. The crystal then summons something that caught Emmett's eyes. Shocked, Emmett goes speechless as he sees a gigantic ferocious wolf is summoned by the crystal which lets out a terrifying howl that leads the army horrified and Aria petrified. The beast attacks the army killing hundreds of them and moves towards the walls as Emmett tries to think of what to do. Aria manages to slow the beast down until she gets overwhelmed and pushed back by the beast making her exhausted. Aria, hopeful, telepathically calls Emmett which he receives and tells him to summon a certain group of units. "Summon the sword knights!" Emmett commands the summoners who then follow his orders. The summoners summoned the sword knights who then defeat the gigantic wolf creature with the aid of the surviving army and the help of Aria.

     After the wolf's death, they destroy the crystal, and then Emmett declares victory which the army and the others react happily. The army alongside Aria and the sword knights goes back into the gates and is given food, healing, and supplies by Emmett's aiding force. Everyone celebrates the victory as Emmett is happily looking at the side while Aria sighs in relief. Still worried, Aria goes to Emmett asks him if things will be back to normal. "I don't know but we'll just have to find out," he replies. They all burn and mourn the deceased and eventually have a peaceful sleep until the next day.
