One day, Mr. Beast is doing a video at the shelter Raven works at. They meet the whole crew, but something about Karl draws them in. Raven keeps in touch with everyone, and the more he talks to Karl...
I ran my fingers through my hair, sighing. I was waiting out in front of the shelter for the crew. They were 10 minutes late, and I was starting to get aggravated. If they were going to visit and possibly disrupt the routine, they could at least be on time.
Just then, I saw a car pull up. Three men got out, one was tall, probably over 6'0. The other two were average height. They all looked decent, but I was confused. I had been told of four men, not three.
"We're so sorry, Chandler got sick during the ride and we had to take him back home." The tallest one said, and well, that answered my question.
"It's alright, don't worry. I'm Raven, nice to meet you." I say, smiling and sticking my hand out.
"Jimmy, nice to meet you too." The tallest smiles, shaking my hand.
Another one walks up to me, shaking my hand and smiling. The taller one was whispering to the other short one, and I felt a little annoyed. If they were talking about me, there's another red flag.
"Chris." He said, stepping back.
The shortest one came up to me, seemingly steadying himself. He gave a warm smile and shook my hand gently.
"Karl. I like your nails, by the way."
(Pretend they aren't press on nails. These are the nails btw 👇)

I looked down at my nails, smiling. Nobody besides Koda ever really compliments me. It was sweet, and not gonna lie, it made my heart flutter.
"Thank you! I appreciate it." I say, looking back up.
"Did you do them yourself?" Chris asked, and I smiled.
"I did! I redo them about every month, they last a while with the polish I use." I say, and the other boys nodded.
"Well anyway, time to get going. I know you all come here to help, but we do have a routine. It's better for both the workers, and the animals to keep it strictly the same."
Jimmy has a serious look in his eyes, while Chris and Karl look less in for it. I don't need that. What I need is full effort.
"As you probably guessed, you're following my schedule with the dogs. Work starts at 7:00 am, don't be late. I get to work and give the cats their morning kibble, I'll assign a list of cats to each of you later. 7:30, I go and take all the dogs out to the park area. 8:00 I start picking up their feces. 8:30, I bring them inside. Until 10:00 we feed and work with them, then we go down to the main building. By 10:30, shop opens, and we work until 12:00 pm. That's lunch break, 12:00 to 12:30. That's why you're here right now. After lunch, we work shop again until 2:00. Then we go back and let the dogs out again, 2:30, pick up feces. 3:00, we bring them inside and work with them. 5:30, we feed them again. 6:00 we go down to the work room and stay until 6:30, just to make sure security and everything is fine. Then we get to leave." I explain, and the boys just stared blankly.
I laughed, sliding my phone into my pocket. I heard Koda come outside, and I immediately felt awkward. Instead of acknowledging him, I continued with the guys.
"Don't worry, I'll print you off a schedule after my shift today." I say, and their faces changed to ones of relief.
"Raven! Oh, hello boys. Raven, will you please come here? I need to talk to you, alone." Koda said, and I closed my eyes tight as the boys left, and I was stuck with Koda.
