Stephanie's pov

I wake up to someone shaking me. My eyes fly open and I stand up.

"Hey hey relax."

Steve says resting a hand on my shoulder.

"We're here now, are you ready?"

"Steve, I'll be fine."

"Okay"

I walk out of the helicarrier and see Tony standing near the doors of Avengers tower. It's a high-rise building able to function by the use of a large arc reactor. During Loki's attack on New York, the tower was formerly known as Stark Tower. After the battle, it was almost destroyed when it was rebuilt he decided to just keep the A up and Avengers tower was born.

I walk up to him and he awkwardly pats me on the back and then grins.

"Glad to have you back, kid."

I roll my eyes.

"Tony, I'm one hundred six years old."

"Yea yea come on"

He says, leading me inside. Just like the first time I came here I look around in amazement. The big open room that is usually empty is full of my fellow soon-to-be teammates and of course people, Tony is acquainted with.

"Tony this is just... wow."

"Amazing I know but that's who I am."

I chuckle and he takes his arm off my shoulder turning to look at me.

"I know how hard this will be with... you know but just know I'm here for you, the whole team is your one of us now."

"I know..."

He nods, turns, and starts walking away but I stop him.

"Tony?"

He spins back around looking back at me right into my eyes.

"Thank you."

A small smile crosses his face as he nods, turning on one foot and walking towards Pepper who's surrounded by people who I don't know. I decided to stay near the doorway to take it all in.

Bucky's pov

I'm sitting alone at the bar when I see her walk in with Tony. Even from here, I can tell it's the same girl from my mind, there's something different in her eyes, more sad and distant. I know she was there with Steve on the bridge but something tells me she's important. She laughs at something Tony says then he says something else to her.

He then goes to walk away but she says something and he turns around. saying what I make out to be a thank you, he lets a small smile slip then turns away from her making his way towards Pepper. I decide to go and introduce myself when Steve walks in, I see him wrap his arm around her waist as she rests her head on his shoulder.

"oh... he's Steve's girl."

My heart hurts but I push it away. If there's one thing being in Hydra taught me it's to push away my feelings so that's what I do. I turn away from them, taking another sip of my whisky. I try to tell myself not to care but I do.

Just as I think that the same picture of her smile flashes in my mind.

Steve's pov

After going inside I decided to let her get settled in by herself, walking up the stairs to my room I go inside closing the door behind me, making my way to my closet I pull out jeans and a blue button-up shirt with long sleeves. After getting dressed I go back to the party intending to look for her.  Seeing her standing there against the wall near the left side of the door,
