Stephanie's pov

"I thought he was locked up in Asgard!"

I yelled running up the stairs next to him. When we last saw Loki he was supposed to be kept prisoner in Asgard that was after the battle in New York. Now he's back and there's no Banner to throw him around or Thor because he's visiting his father Odin.

"So did we!"

Just as we burst through the door a blast of fire explodes near my head, I spin out of the way. Without another thought, I jump into the fray.

"Tony what's going on!"

"Well Loki's back and he brought fire friends with him."

"Yea no shit!"

I look up to see Tony blasting them out of the sky as they try to light him on fire. He swerves left and right trying to dodge them all. His repulsors glow a blue color with every blast.

One runs at me and I throw my shield knocking it off balance. Pulling my gun out I shoot it in the head. Blood splatters all over me and the ground. That's when I feel something hot tear into my leg.

"Ah!"

I look down and see a knife sticking out of my calf. I grab the hilt and rip it out clenching my teeth to contain my scream. Blood drips from the wound staining my jeans. I drop the knife and turn around, a pair of green eyes meet mine from a few feet away.

Rage fills me. All I see is red, power courses through my veins ready to be released before thinking about what I'm doing. I run at him, hands outstretched, my eyes glowing purple.

Bucky's pov

My head feels like it's going to explode but I have to keep going. That's when I see Stephanie get hit with the knife. She clenches her teeth and pulls it out. When she turns I follow her eyes and see Loki with a grin on his face.

"Shit!"

I manage to dodge a fireball just before it hits me. Out of the corner of my eye I see her fighting him nearer the edge of the roof. She's using her powers but it's taking a lot out of her. She swings at him but trips.

Then my head explodes.

"Come on Bucky!"

I gasp. Everything is coming back so quickly I don't have time to process it all. I run in her direction, my heart racing in my chest. Loki punches her in the chest and she falls to the ground. He grabs her by the neck and throws her over the edge.

"No!"

Time seems to slow down as he lets her go. I keep running not noticing Loki is now gone without another thought I jump reaching for her at the same time.

Stephanie's pov

I reach up and grab his left wrist, the cool metal meets my fingertips bringing me back to reality.

"Tony!"

"Friday now!"

Something hits me in the back and I feel Nanos wrap around my body as they do a suit forms around me.

I look at Bucky and our eyes lock.

I shove him towards the building and he grabs the edge of the balcony swinging himself onto it.

Twisting my body in mid-air getting into a landing position I hit the ground, the pavement cracking underneath me.

"You know I could kill you very easily."
