Bella pov:

My phone alarm went off.

I rubbed my eyes and reached behind me, scrambling to find my phone and turn it off.

It was on the other side of the bed. Where Axe should have been.

He wasn't there.

Maybe he got up earlier? Went home? Making breakfast? Bathroom?

When I was more awake, I looked around and noticed my surroundings more.

The blankets that were put around the bed had been torn down, some pillows were also spread out around the room. What happened?

I clicked flashed my Lock Screen on my phone and checked the time.

After getting ready I realised Axe wasn't here and he must have gone home. But when?

As I ate breakfast I finally had time to go on my phone. I messaged him before checking any other notifications.

Bella
Hey?
You went home??

He left me on open. Weirdo.

The car pulled up outside, just on time because I had just finished eating. I dusted off the crumbs that were hardly even on me, picked up my bag and left the house, locking the door behind me.

I was in the car after Axe.

"Hey" I looked over to him and put on my seatbelt.

He looked away and out the window.

"Why are you in a mood?"

He shook his head.

Whatever. I pulled out my phone and started checking my more important notifications. Ones that didn't involve this moody boy.

[Adriel_077] I heard about the party tomorrow, you're going, right? My parents are forcing me to go. Do you want to go with me? Even if you're not invited, I have a plus one invitation if it's needed.

I opened it.

Weird. Me and Adriel didn't really speak much, his parents and mine knew each other because of the business somewhere but nothing dramatic.

Like me and Axe.

Adriel was in a few of my classes but we still didn't speak. We weren't near each other in any lesson and therefore there wasn't really a need to speak.

I thought about his message for a minute and looked back to Axe. He was still looking out the window. Why was he being so weird?

I thought we got on last night. For once. Maybe he realised how kind he was being and therefore he's gone back to being this horrible person again.

Just a guess.

"What are you doing about the party tonight then?" I asked. Hoping he'd actually respond to me.

He looked back at me, he seemed frustrated that I asked that. Why?

"Helloooo" I waved my hand in front of him for a few seconds.

"Am I invisible or what? Stop being weird"

He rolled his eyes at me and looked back out the window.

"I might ask someone from class, maybe Paige. She gets along with my parents and that"
