It was the next morning when Jotaro woke up. Y/N was still asleep and didn't seem to be waking up any time soon. Jotaro slowly crept out of the bed and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Eventually, he found the leftovers that were left for him and ate that. He didn't want to open anything new or make a mess for her to wake up to.

When he was done eating, he went back to the bedroom and crawled back into the bed. He wasn't quite ready to start the day yet. As soon as he laid down and got comfortable, he felt Y/N nuzzle her head into his chest. He laid like this for a little while until he heard his phone buzz on the nightstand. He tried to bend his arm under this invisible wall so he could grab his phone. This didn't work though, all it did was cause his shoulder to pop very painfully. Instead, he carefully picked up her head and placed it onto her pillow. He slowly turned to the side and went to grab his phone and saw the note sitting there about to fall.

He picked it up and read it and felt a flutter in his chest while his face began to heat up. It may have seemed silly, but he couldn't help but feel this when she did little things like this. He would never admit it to anyone, but he loved small gestures like this. He couldn't let anyone know that he had a soft side. He was always a tough guy, but when Y/N came around, he noticed this started to fade away. He felt conflicted, but he accepted it in the end. This was better than being alone right?

After tucking the small note away, he reached for his phone and the bright light illuminated the entire room. Jotaro had to take a second so he didn't go blind from the beam that emitted from the phone. After a few moments, he turned the phone back on and looked to see who texted him.

It was an unknown number that had sent a rather short text.

"Is this Jotaro Kujo's number?"

Jotaro wasn't concerned by this. He figured it was yet another fan girl trying to reach him. He quickly responded back to the stranger.

"No, sorry." Within a matter of seconds, the stranger typed a response back. "Oh, sorry about that. I'm his dad trying to reach him about important matters. Have a good day."

Jotaro's body had shut down. His brain stopped, his breathing stopped, all bodily functions have stopped. He dropped his phone and it made a loud bang against the white tile. This caused Y/N to wake up and was instantly confused by what was happening. She couldn't even say any words because of how suddenly everything had happened.

Jotaro stood up from the bed and walked out of the room. Y/N got up to follow, but Jotaro's cold voice boomed from inside the house. "Stay in there, I don't want to be around you right now." This startled her, she hadn't seen this side of him before. It made her feel a little better knowing that she didn't do anything and he was just upset, but she was still hurt. Despite what Jotaro had said, she wasn't going to stay in the room to let the problem fester. She got up from the bed and walked over to his side of the bed to grab what had fallen.

She picked up the phone and saw that messages were open. She wasn't one to snoop, but this was a valid reason to look, right? She saw the conversation and the color had drained from her face. Even after all these years, she still felt terrified when the thought of the man crossed her mind. She didn't even want to imagine how Jotaro felt after receiving this. Actually, she just witnessed it. He wanted to be alone, but with something this serious, there's no way she could do that. At least she knew it wasn't her fault.

She quickly put the phone into her pocket and walked out into the living room. Jotaro wasn't there. So, she looked around the house. Eventually, she went outside and saw him sitting on the swinging chair that overlooked the rest of the town behind the mountain. She walked over and carefully sat down on the chair. She didn't want to bring up the topic, but she knew he needed to vent. If not, he was a ticking bomb bound to explode.

"I saw the messages when I picked your phone up off the ground. I didn't mean to snoop, but it was on and I saw it." He looked over with stoic eyes. He didn't say a word though. He just looked back over to where he was looking before. "Did you just want to block the number so he can't reach you?"

"No."

"Okay, I'll leave this here so you can choose what you want to do. I'll be inside cleaning up a little if you need me." He didn't say anything, he just nodded his head and buried his head in his hands. When he did this, Y/N could feel the pain and stress he was going through. He shouldn't have to deal with this. He's already gone through enough. Y/N decided that she was going to take care of this on her own. She wasn't going to let Jotaro go through this again on his own.

She reached into her pocket, opened the phone and dialed in the number and sent a short text.

"If you want to reach Jotaro, you'll have to talk to me first. I won't let you do what you did to him years ago."
