Robin's Cat

Chapter 3

Gusto kong matawa.

"What the hell are you saying? Hindi ako nakikipagbiro ha. "Sabi ko.

"So am I." Sagot niya.

What is this? Ano 'to joke? May camera ba sa paligid?

"Mister please. I don't know what you are doing inside my house. Why you are naked and eating my foods inside my refrigerator! I don't know what your intentions are! So please, stop fooling around and leave." I calmly said.

"Why would I?" He asked and now he's eating the ice cream!

Hindi ko pa nga binubuksan iyon!

"Because! Oh you are really getting into my nerves. You are a stranger! You don't just get into someone's house and eat their foods wearing nothing!"

"Get into someone's house? I've been in here since yesterday." He said.

"What—"

"You even double checked your doors earlier if they were locked. So how can I get into here if I am really the 'sranger' you were saying?" Taas kilay niyang tinanong.

I ran to check my doors. And yes, they're locked. I even checked the windows if there are cracks, but there aren't any.

I looked at him again.

Am I dreaming?

This is insane. I looked at everywhere inside my house while he's still busy eating my foods.

"Could you please put that all down and get dress?" I said.

I stared at the cage again for a couple of seconds.

No. This can't be. This can't be real.

I got him a big blanket that he can cover on his body.

"Sit." I said to him.

He sat on the sofa while I am walking back and forth like a fool.

"Who are you again?" I asked him.

"Robin." He answered.

"Like my cat Robin?" I know it sounds so stupid, but I don't know what to think!

"Mm-hm." He confirmed.

"Wha.. How?" I confusingly asked.

"Hindi ba dapat ikaw ang tinatanong ko niyan?" Sagot niya.

"Bakit ako? I did nothing to you." I answered him back.

"Then why did I turn into this? A human like you?" He asked.

"No. No. I am dreaming. I am definitely dreaming." I kept on saying that while walking back and forth again.
