"Aurelia come on your going to be late!" my mother yelled from downstairs. It was graduation day and I was getting ready for the ceremony. I was just finishing up my make-up before I went to go get my shoes and go out the door. I was so ready to be able to do what I have been dreaming of since I was a little kid. I have always wanted to be an actor but my parents have always thought that acting wouldn't be able to pay the bills and pay for car payments and stuff like that.
"Aurelia hurry up! We're leaving now!!!" my mother screamed. I have never been able to stand up to my parents because I don't want the same lecture over and over and over again. So I gave up, not on my dream of course just about telling them that I am still going to try and be and actress.
"Aurelia!!! LETS GO!!!" My mother screamed again
"Coming!!" I said as I ran out my bedroom with my shoes in my hand. As I was running down to the car I saw my best friend doing the same thing. Tom and I have been next door neighbors and best friends for as long as I can remember. I have this HUGE crush on him, but I have never been able to tell him. He was known for being the popular jock in school. He played football (British football) and was the captain of the team. As I said he was popular, it wasn't always like that. He had been bullied all the time in school before he started acting when we started secondary school. But one of his movies had taken off and he became the schools most popular guy in school. Now as some of you would think he would drop me and my other 2 best friends but no, he made a promise to all of us that if he ever became popular or famous that we would still be best friends.
"Hey Tom!" I said as I blushed while getting in the car. "Hey!" he said as he waved before getting into his car. We both left our driveways and headed to the school. Once we got to the school we went inside to grab our cap and gowns. Then we headed out to the football field where everybody else was. They started naming off people in order and Tom and I were right next to each other and messing around a little bit. When they called my name I went up to the stage to go grab my diploma and shake some hands. Once the ceremony was over I was congratulated a lot, and then we went over to the Hollands house because they were having a party to congratulate all of us.
"Aurelia! Congratulations! I'm so proud of you" Nikki said "Thank you! I am really excited to go off and enjoy my life for once." I said and laughed. Nikki and I talked for a while then she started to go into a conversation that I dreaded the most. "So your mom and I were talking a little earlier and we both said that you and Tom looked so cute sitting together at the ceremony" She said. I laughed it off and said "Thanks but as you and my mom both know he and I are just friends and nothing more." "Oh honey I know we just think you guys would be cute together." I took that as my cue to leave and go to the hideout Tom and I made when we were little. "I am going to use the restroom real quick, I'll be right back" I said as I went up the stairs to the little door in the corner. I opened it and sat down and just breathed a little bit.
"Hey!" Someone said I jumped and looked around for someone and turned the light on to see who was there. "Tom!! Don't scare me like that!!" I said as a nudged his shoulder a little bit. "Ow!!" he said. "Oh come on that didn't even hurt!" I said. "What are you doing up here anyways?" I stated. "It was getting to overwhelming with all the congrats and gifts everybody was giving me." He said "You?" "Your mom started to talk about me and you dating again." I said.
"Gosh dammit mum!!! She just can't get over it can she?" he said and rolled his eyes. My smile dipped a bit and it felt like I just got stabbed in the heart with how he reacted, I put my head down and said "yeah she can't" and I felt a tear go down my cheek. I don't know why I was acting like this, yeah I liked him but I wasn't obsessed with him.
"Well I better get back to your mum. She probably thinks I am still in the bathroom" I said as a laughed off my tears. "Yeah I should too" He said as we both came out the the little room.
It was a few minutes after the party ended and I was looking though my window in my bedroom and saw Tom and Harrison outside talking. I decided that I should probably go to bed but I went to my parents to tell them that I wanted to go and act but before I could get up to go to them, both of my parents came into my room with a letter. I wondered what the letter could be? They started talking about how I did so well in school and that I should try and go to collage but I hated the idea of going to collage. I asked them what was in the letter but they said that I needed to wait till they were done talking.

Hey! So I know that this chapter might be long for some of you but this might be how long most of the chapters are. This is what came out of my mind at the moment and it may be different than the description but I will most likely change that once the story is done. Hope you enjoyed that chapter.
