Topanga: Riley it's for you!
Maya: Hey misses Matthews!
Topanga: Hi Maya
Maya: Are you ready for our last two weeks of school? Why aren't you ready?
Riley: I don't know what to wear
Maya: come on we've got to go! Or do you wanna be late?
Riley: Alright, alright I'm coming! Wait, since when are you keen to go to school?
Maya: Oh my god, you're right! What's wrong with me?!
Riley: (Smiles) Come on lets go
(At school)
Riley: Can you believe it?! College is actually happening, new classes, new friends to make, new and definitely improved teachers! Ahh I'm so excited!
Maya: For what? Same boring classes, same over worked teachers. I really don't see what the big fuss is all about
Riley: Oh Maya, so bitter what happened to you?
Maya: Nothing I've always been like this, that's what you love about me
Riley: True true
Lucas: Hey girls
Riley: Lucas hi
Maya: Hey
Lucas: So Riley.. I had fun Saturday, wanna do it again Friday?
Riley: I had fun too and I'd love to hang out again
Maya: Wait, what did you do Saturday?
Lucas: We went on a date, didn't she tell you?
Maya: Eh no, not really
Riley: Was I supposed to?
Maya: No, no it's fine, I hope you had fun (smiles a bit)
Riley: Uh okay, will you help me get ready Friday?
Maya: Sure
I don't get it, how could Riley not tell me this. Normally she would over float of excitement. I'm really happy for her that she's back together with Lucas. They have had two breakups but that seems to be all forgiven and forgotten. Deep down it does hurt to see her with someone else. I wish I would've told her how I felt sooner, maybe it had changed something.
The rest of the week was pretty boring. Things really started happening after that Friday.
(Friday)
Riley: (Sighs) Isn't life beautiful?!
Maya: Excited for your date?
Riley: Yeahh!
Maya: (Looks at Riley with pain in her heart)
Riley: Okay so what do I wear?
Maya: Hmm let me think (looks in Riley's wardrobe)
Riley: (Applies her makeup) I'm sorry I didn't tell you
Maya: Yeah why didn't you tell me?
Riley: I just.. didn't wanna hurt your feelings..
Maya: How would you have done that?
Riley: Well I just didn't wanna make you feel.. I don't know left out?
Maya: Here, you've always looked great in this (gives Riley a dress)
Riley: Thanks (changes) I'm so glad Lucas and I are back together, he's sweet, caring, gentle and good looking too!
Maya: He's the same as when we met in middle school (Riley appears in the dress looking absolutely stunning) wow..
Riley: Do you think he will like it?
Maya: He'll love it (tears sparkle in her eyes)
Riley: well I better get going now!
Topanga: Wow you look amazing!
Corry: No! No! No! You're growing up way too fast, I won't allow it!
Riley: Dad!
Corry: Alright, alright, have fun!
Riley: I will!
Topanga: Hey where's Maya?
Riley: Don't know, I guess she's still in my room
Topanga: Okay bye hunny have fun
