We aren't dating,
'Just friends' you're saying
Then why did you hold my hand that day,
And kept looking at me that way?
Texting me at 3am,
Telling me to come over
Sitting at the back of your rover,
Whispering to me that I'm your forever
You're making the relationship confusing,
Messing with my head,
Running me in circles,
Did you know that it's breaking my internals?
I gave you my heart,
You gave me hell
The sound of your name,
Rings in my ear like a knell
Now I'm drunk and dizzy,
Overthinking about us,
Staring at the sea,
Having no trust in us
I'm getting tired of this game,
Always taking the blame
I'll never end up with you,
Should I just stop trying?
