Lando had never been the most observing or attentive boyfriend, there were a lot of things that he would often forget or that he wouldn't notice because his mind was busy all the time, thinking about racing or twitch streaming. However, ever since you had found out you were expecting a baby a lot had change, he had become more protective, attentive and observing. It was really cute to see how he would touch your belly even when there wasn't much to see yet and how he would kiss it all the time.

Tonight was no exception, it had become like a routine, Lando would place his head by your belly and talk about the future, touch your bump even when there wasn't really one just yet and kiss it just to make sure the baby growing inside you felt loved since the very first moment. It was a very intimate moment that you would sometimes record to have the memory of it.

"Y/n" Lando called softly.

"Lando" You called back with the same tone as him.

"You're starting to show." He said with a wide smile.

"No, I'm not showing just yet, there's not much to see anyways." You answered in disbelief.

"But you are, your body is changing. I see it, today I can actually see a very small bump forming in your belly. It's super cute and it just makes this way more real." Lando explained.

You ran your fingers through his soft hair. "I mean, I hadn't really looked too much into it. But, if you do see something then I totally believe you." You answered.

"Look" He demanded. As he ran his hands down your stomach and abdomen, he was right there was a very slight change in the abdomen area but I hadn't been observant enough to notice something so slight like that. Lando was getting really into seeing all the small details, the changes and everything like that.

"I'm actually impressed, how you've been noticing all the small details and have been really into the pregnancy. I love it and it makes me even happier and more excited to have a baby if it's going to be with you." You expressed grateful for everything that your boyfriend had been doing, how caring he had been, it was the smallest and most genuine things that made you even happier.

"How could I not be attentive? It's you who is carrying the baby, the least I can do is take care of you, make sure you feel love, as well as the baby, be there for you through everything. I might have helped you get pregnant but from here, it's all you that's making me a father and everything I'm doing right now is the least I can do. The bar is already low for dads when it shouldn't, you shouldn't expect any less from me or from anyone." He said. And he wasn't wrong, everything that he had said was true. The bar is quite low for how much men do during a woman's pregnancy and you were super proud of how mature Lando had become in the last few years, and also because he really was the best boyfriend you could ask for.

"You are right, but still, it's really sweet of you, and I'm glad to have a man like you by my side who will care for our kids and be there whenever I need. I love you Lando." You expressed.

"I love you too y/n" He replied as he pushed himself up to kiss your lips softly, you kissed back with the same sentiment and then you both went to sleep.
