Just wondering if anyone has an idea of why are votes in my books so low right now? I went from 30 votes to 10 votes per imagine which is kind of unmotivating

She keeps crying for you...

Having 3 kids was very complicated and it was even worse when your husband Max Verstappen couldn't be around as much due to his job as a Formula 1 driver. You had a set of twins that was 4 years old and those two now understood why their dad was never around or well at least not so much. Milan and Alexander enjoyed visiting Max on race weekends and loved watching him race on TV.

However, you also had a 2 year old daughter, Valentina. She was too young to understand why her daddy wasn't here to play all the time. It was hard for her not to have Max around because like a lot of girls, she was a total daddy's girl. There were weeks in which she did miss Max but it wasn't that big a deal, her brothers would keep her distracted and she wouldn't cry asking for her dad.

Though, this weekend was completely different, she woke up with an attitude and all day had been filled with temper tantrums that you couldn't seem to control. She had been hitting her brothers when the twins had tried to help you calm her down. It was being really hard to control her. You hated when the situation got so out of control because, you couldn't do much about it, she wouldn't stop crying until daddy was either playing with her or putting her to bed. You knew that wouldn't be the case for the next week since he had to go from Mexico City all the way to São Paulo for the finishing race of the triple-header in America.

During dinner, Valentina, had thrown her dinner out of her high chair because she didn't seem to like what was on the plate and then started crying. When you tried to feed her she pushed your hand away with all the force that a two year old had and continue throwing yet another temper tantrum.

"Nina, please, you need to have dinner and then take a bath so you can go to bed. I know you're cranky but you need to calm down baby. Daddy will be here in a week and he will give you kisses and play with you all you want." You tried to explain, knowing that, it wouldn't help at all since she understood some stuff but not that much information.

Your daughter continued to cry and the word "Dada or papa" was the only clear thing you understood. Her mixing dutch and english. You were starting to get a migraine and your patience was running low at this point. You asked your sons to get ready for bed since they had already taken a bath and they listened without putting up a fight, which right now you appreciated a lot.

You tried to bathe Valentina which was another complicated part of your night, you were seriously thinking start to cry yourself calling for your husband since this was a lot of work. Once that was done you went to the kitchen and made her a bottle which she actually drank, and you were hopeful that would help put her to sleep. When she finished you put her pacifier on her mouth to muffle the constant cries. After a good 20 minutes she finally fell asleep, so much crying had gotten her just as tired.

You headed to the kitchen and opened a bottle of wine, you needed to relax as well and a bit of alcohol when you have 3 kids was never too bad. You calmly drank what was on your glass and then heard the lock of the door open. Max had just gotten home.

You went over to the living room and there he was, wearing his Red Bull shirt and cap. He looked at you and closed the door trying not to make too much noise since the kids were already in bed. "Hey love" He said as he pressed his lips against yours and tasted the wine on your mouth. "What's with the drink tonight? Have the kids been too much work?" He asked knowing the routine that you followed sometimes when it all got a little too much. You just nodded and he wrapped his arms around your waist.

"What happened this time?" He questioned, rubbing your lower back softly.

"The twins were total angels honestly. The problem was with Nina, she threw three temper tantrums today and she kept crying for you, I tried calling you once but you didn't pick up so I just gave up and tried to calm her down myself but nothing would work. All that little girl wanted was her daddy." You explained and Max smirked.

"Do you want her daddy too?" He mentioned giving the comment a whole other connotation. You glared at him but also giggled. "I'm sorry that I couldn't be here to help you with the kids and I will make up for it, the season is almost over and I promise to make sure I take care of them and let you rest." He promised and you knew her words were true, he really was the best father and husband.

He kissed your lips softly and carried you to your bedroom, laid you down on the bed and asked you to remove your clothes, you weren't in the mood for sex tonight though. He came back to the master bedroom and asked you to lay on your stomach. He gave you a massage to help you relax and enjoy yourself for a little while. Again, he really was the best and most caring husband ever.
