I can't even trust you anymore...

Knowing that you were dating someone so famous, that is around so many girls all the time, traveling every other week, and not being able to see each other at all. It was a nightmare but you loved and trusted Lando so you were willing to stay in the relationship. You wanted to make it work out.

This time the Monaco Grand Prix was happening, you couldn't go because you had to work in London for the week. You hoped he would have a great weekend maybe even a podium finish. McLaren had become a better team in the past few years which gave you hope for Lando to make it to a podium.

You were watching the race with your friends during your break, Lando was doing phenomenal during was race and was currently P2. It was going to be his best result since he hadn't been able to win a race just yet. You were so happy for him so you posted about it on your story, people thought you two made a really cute couple so it was all over socials as soon as you posted it. You texted to congratulate him and you didn't expect him to reply for a while, your expectations were true.

He called you a couple of hours later, he was so happy about the result and so were you. You were sad that you couldn't celebrate with him at the moment but knew that when he was back you'd celebrate together this amazing result.

You knew he was going to go out partying with the race winner: Max Verstappen and the other podium sitter: George Russell since all of them got along pretty well. You knew Lando wasn't one to drink often so you trusted that his sober thoughts would keep him away from other girls. Normally, he would which, helps your trust issues.

This time, however, he was pressured into drinking. Max had managed to make Lando like gin and tonic which was an alcoholic beverage. That was the recipe for disaster. Lando didn't drink which meant that nobody really knew how he would act under the effects of alcohol.

In the end, he ended up making out with another girl, she was blonde and nobody knew who she was because Lando's body was covering her. Everyone knew it wasn't you because you weren't with him in Monaco. You didn't want to believe what you were seeing, you were now doubting if he had ever been faithful while you weren't around on race weekends. This had turned out to be a disaster and you knew you couldn't handle unfaithfulness, and it was just worse when it was a public matter now.

You didn't want to talk about this with Lando over the phone, it would only end up with you hanging up on him or even breaking up over the phone. You needed clarity and you wouldn't get it on the phone call. You went to sleep and hoped that he would be home early morning. You knew the outcome of it all wouldn't be great, and you dreaded that moment but, you needed to know if it had all been true.

He arrived back in London at around 4 pm. He made it home and you were already waiting for him in the living room. He left his keys and noticed you. He said hello and leaned in for a kiss, you moved your head away. He immediately knew you were aware of the situation and knew about what had happened the previous night.

You looked at him, tears already were threatening to fall. "I'm so sorry y/n." He said. He looked like his apology was genuine but you would never allow a situation like that to get past just like that.

"So then it is true? You did make u¿out with that girl?" You asked, your voice breaking because you kind of knew the answer to that question already.

"I did, and I'm sorry y/n. I didn't intend to get drunk, I never do. The alcohol made me do something I didn't want to do." He tried to explain, but you didn't take that as an excuse. Nothing was an excuse for cheating.

"And you think that makes it acceptable? I can't even believe you. Is this the first time this has happened?" You question, even though you didn't want to know the answer to that.

"This is the first time. I swear I had never been unfaithful before." He reassured.

"I don't believe you, I can't even trust you anymore." You breathed and held back the tears that he didn't deserve to see shed. "I think we should end this here. I can't forgive your actions Lando." You continued.

"Please, forgive me y/n. I promise this won't ever happen again. Please don't give up on our relationship." He pleaded.

"I can't. Please, just leave." You asked.

He did as you wished but he didn't look convinced by the outcome of this whole situation. You two had broken up and you knew it was for the best. You were better than this, you couldn't stay with a man that after the first time out drinking he had been unfaithful.

You couraged up and posted a public message about the rumors and well the now break up so people would know what type of person he really was. It was a very sad moment for you, but you knew something better would come after him and the situation.
