Chapter One:

"(Y.n)! Essi! Get your arses out of bed!" Severus yelled.
"Get up you lazy arse," Essi yelled, next thing I know she was on top of me.
"What the fuck Essi," I grumbled, pushing her off me so I could get up.
"Sorry bae but dad wants to get up and have us take the dumb train to the train station so we seem as if we are just arriving as well."
I groaned and rubbed my eyes, glancing up to see Essi already dressed with her luggage over her shoulders.
"What the fuck are you wearing?" I asked, looking over her outfit choice, which was a baggy grey sweater and pajama pants.
She looked down at herself and shrugged, "I wanna be comfy if I'm going to be stuck on a train for hours."
"Dad's going to tell you to at least put jeans on you know," I stated, getting up myself and throwing on some random clothes.
She groaned but started to change anyways, "Fine."
Not even ten minutes later were we both trudging downstairs with our bags of books and uniforms. Essi had her cat in her arms and I had my owl perched on my shoulder.
"I still can't believe I couldn't have a snake" I whined, "That white one was so adorable."
"Oh shush." Essi swatted my shoulder playfully, "At least yours can fly."
I was about to argue back when dad walked over to us with a sandwich in each hand.
Essi and I each took one, thanking him before walking together for the train to take us to the muggle world, just to come back to Hogwarts.
—---
"Alright, are you both sure you have everything?" Severus asked
I patted my pockets, and turned to make sure my wheeled luggage was zipped closed, "Yep."
Essi nodded, already dosing off.
"Okay, go find yourselves a seat on the train and make sure to change into your robes ten minutes before arrival." He said, lightly pushing both Essi and me onto the empty train.
"Bye dad, see you soon," Essi said, walking into the train.
I walked on as well, turning to wave at him. Why say goodbye if we are coming back in a few hours anyway?
—---
Once Essi and I boarded the train, we sat in the middle of the train. We only struggled a bit trying to shove our bags on the upper compartment.
"How long does it take to get there?" I asked, seating myself next to the window, Essi plopped in front of me.
"Well, seeing as we boarded at 2 in the morning..." She paused, counting on her fingers, "9 Hours there and another 9 back."
I groaned, "Might as well nap now before people board and try to bother us.
"Wait!" Essi shot up, "before you sleep, what did dad say our last names would be?"
"Chrysalis"
"Chrycalis?"
"No, it's pronounced (KRIS-ah-lihs)" I yawned, fluffing up a seat pillow and laying down for a nap.
"If you're going to nap now, take my blanket." Essi offered, already placing the blanket on me.
"Won't you sleep as well?" I asked, looking up to see her getting comfortable.
"Why sleep when I have coffee and a good book?" She said smugly and sipped her coffee.
—---
The nine hours passed by quickly when you're taking a nap, but waking up the way I did would ruin anyones day.
"(Y.n) Wake up, look at all the people out there." She shoved me harshly, distracted by the window.
I groaned but sat up to glance anyways and damn there were a ton of people.
I groaned again, "Ew people."
She laughed but sat back anyways and bookmarked her page, "I'm sure most of them won't bite... Hey! Let's play guess the house."
I grinned. Guess the house was a game we played every year. We would see the freshman all lined up with McGonagall and point and choose who would be from what house before they were placed.
"Okay.. um, That boy right there." I pointed to a skinny-looking kid with red hair and freckles, "Either a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff."
We watched him for a moment, seeing older boys and him shoving each other, "Ok well not Hufflepuff."
We laughed and pointed out more kids, pausing when we saw a small boy with a weirdly shaped scar.
"Oh my god, (Y.n), look," Essi whispered, pointing out the kid.
I could not believe my eyes, the stories dad told us weren't bull after all...
—---
After a few more minutes, the kids started to load the train. In a matter of seconds everyone settled. Essi and I were glad no one had barged in on us.
"I thought-" Essi was cut off with knocking on the closed door.
The girls looked up in time to see two boys, the red-head and the one with the scar. They looked nervous and their faces blushed a bright red.
"Sorry to bother you.." The redhead started, "But there are no open compartments left... mind if we joined you?"
I looked over at Essi, who was distracted by the two older boys standing behind the two.
"Essi." I snapped, "Yeah that's fine, take a seat."
Essi turned to me and blushed, mouthing 'Damnnn.' I laughed and pulled her to sit next to me instead, so the boys could sit together.
"Thank you. My name is Harry, Harry Potter. This is Ron Weasley." Harry exclaimed.
The two older boys piped in, "And we are Fred and George."
I was shocked they said that in harmony, but looking closer they must be twins.
"Nice to meet you guys, I'm (Y.n) Chrysalis and this is my sister Essi Chrysalis." I introduced.
The twins bowed and left, while the boys glanced at each other and shook our hands.
—---
"So you two are sisters?" Ron asked, shoving every flavor jelly bean into his mouth, "You dont look alike at all."
Harry slapped Ron's shoulder, "Ron! That's not very nice!"
"It's just a question." He shrugged.
Essi and I exchanged a glance, "Actually we are step-sisters. But it means nothing. We act as if we are related."
They both nodded, a loss of words I assume.
After a few minutes of silence, Essi spoke up, "Well buckle up. The train ride is Nine and a Half hours long."
