Part 8

At the dungeon...

Evie's POV:

My hands were handcuffed and I was inside a dungeon cell with Mal

"I can't believe this!" Mal said

"You should've hid your identities, girls, instead of telling them!" My dad said from the cell beside us

"We didn't tell them, your majesty, a girl named Audrey found out!" Mal said

We heard footsteps

"LET US OUT OF HERE!" Mal said

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that"

"Who-... Who are you ?!" I said

She came into the light

"Jane.." I mumbled

"I can't believe the cupids are still alive." Jane said

"Isn't she the granddaughter of this fairy who made the cupid princess 100 years ago evil then the fairy 'saved' the kingdom by..." Mal said stopping

"Killing her and every cupid." Jane said with an evil grin

"My grandmother trapped every cupid in this cell and was planning on killing them ALL! But some of them.. ESCAPED! So King Adam banned cupids from this kingdom!" Jane said

"Why.. why are you doing this?!" I said

"Easy. I hate cupids! But my mother didn't want to be like grandma, she likes cupids!" Jane said "I will make sure that all the cupids are dead and avenge my grandmother and FINISH HER WORK!"

Jane laughed evilly

"Buh bye" Jane said evilly and left

Carlos's POV:

I saw Jane walking out of the dungeon room

Why was she in there.. ?

I saw King Adam talking to some guy with a clipboard

I walked to them

"King Adam, can I talk to you.. privately?" I asked

"Fine." King Adam said

The guy left

"What is it ? I am very busy right now, you are lucky I kept the ball going" King Adam said

"Yes, um- why are you trapping the cupids? They haven't done anything wrong !" I said

"...yet" King Adam said finishing the sentence

"Please, give them a 2nd chance! I'm sure they've changed! These are new generation cupids not the one from 100 years ago!" I said

"We can never trust cupids.. EVER!" King Adam said

"And it's not fair of you to just trap them like that before explaining themselves!" I said

"Fine, I will give them a 2nd chance! Only because your one of my son's best friends! If they are evil or done any harm in this kingdom, they will be exterminated IMMEDIATELY!" King Adam said and walked to one of his guards

I sighed

"What are you doing?!" Jay said walking to me

"What ?" I said

"Defending those cupids??!" Jay said

"They deserve a second chance !" I said "Your judging them too quickly"

"Remember 100 years ago!!?" Jay said

"They might change!" I said

"Fine, I'll believe you!" Jay said

King Adam walked to us and gave us the keys to the cell and left

We called ben and ran to the dungeon cells

"C-Carlos.. ?" Evie said

"What are you 3 doing here?" Mal said

"King Adam decided to give you guys a second chance" I said

I opened the dungeon cells and unhandcuffed them

"I owe you a big thanks, boy" The Cupid King said

"Thank you, uh.. Mr. Cupid King, sir" I said 

"Please. Call me King Alexis, and my wife Queen Grimhilde" King Alexis said

I smiled and me, Ben and Jay bowed

"We must go and protect our cupids unless King Adam plans on attacking" King Alexis said

"I promise that I won't let that happen, sir" Ben said

King Alexis and Queen Grimhilde smiled and made a portal back to their home. They went in and the portal closed

Evie hugged each one of us

"Thank you, guys! So much!" Evie said hugging me

I smiled

"Of course" I said

"You guys didn't have to help us, you know" Mal said

"Would you rather get killed?" Ben said

"Fine. Thanks" Mal said giving us a small smile

"Jane's planning on making us cupids evil and making them invade the kingdom and she will act nice and 'save' the kingdom!" I said

"What... ?" I said 

"I knew it! There was a scroll hid in my castle basement and while I was there I saw a scroll and it showed a picture of cupids invading the kingdom" Ben said

"I'll help you stop her"
