Sb, The Dark Rabbit [DISCONTINUED!]

- Chapter 5, Strange Happenings -

- Sb's perspective -

I woke up in a strange place, how did I get here? well.. that's the thing, I don't know. It's too bright for me to see anything so I blindly begin to stumble towards the nearest wall or the nearest thing I can grab onto. My hands slide across a plastic-like surface, it was a pole connected to various other things, my hands continued to cling onto it and then I realised It's some sort of.. play structure?  I didn't know what the object was but it was strange. I stood there for a moment and began listening for noises, anything and anyone I could hear.. yet there was silence. After a while of standing there the lights turned dark enough for me to see a little, I immediately began looking around quietly still holding onto the pole.

My thoughts were confirmed as I looked at the play structure before me, it seemed like this place was some sort of daycare. Then, I heard a faint noise and almost immediately looked towards it.. something- well, someone stepped out from behind a curtain. They looked like a mix of two different people, two beings perhaps? I don't know. The strange one jumped down from the stage-like platform they were standing on, they landed in a ball-pit and began walking towards me. "Hi!" the strange being said, then they said "...Why are we talking to them?.. because! they're strange and I want to greet them! ..oh great, another weirdo.." They seemed to be.. talking to themselves? then they looked down at me again. They weren't much taller than me but they looked different, way different.. they had spiky rays like the sun but they also looked dark with a crescent moon on their face. Half of their face looked yellowish while the other looked white, the white half had a glowing crimson eye where as the other side had a plain white eye. This being is strange.. I thought as I quietly stared at them, they were wearing starry clothing but parts of them were yellow just like part of their face. There was a dark starry hat sitting on two of their sun rays, they had bells tied to their wrists with a permanent smile displayed across their face.

"So? who are you new friend?!" they seemed excited to meet me but then part of them was also annoyed and distant. "...Personal space.." I said as I pushed them away, they had gotten a little too close to me as they greeted me happily. "Oh! what a funny name! ..that's not their name idiot.. they just want you to stand back a little.." they were looking at me happily as they spoke "Our name's SunMoon! but you could just call us..... Moondrop, what was that name again? ..Eclipse.. oh, yeah! Eclipse!" They also seemed to be speaking to themselves as if they were two separate beings combined into one tall body. I said nothing as they watched me and waited for a reply, they seemed to be tapping their foot impatiently as they continued to wait and wait. "...Talk.. talk now.. Moondrop! be nice! ..no, they're not talking... So? ..shut up.." they said, everytime they spoke their voice seemed to change a bit, one voice was darker and one more happier. "Talk, speak.. do literally anything.." they said to me. So I did, I spoke "..It's too bright, I cannot see well.." 

"..Oh, so I'm not the only one who hates the light then..." they seemed to be happy about this "I never said I hated the light.. I just cannot see within light..." I explained, they listened carefully too "..I am a shadow, though not all shadows are like me.. most can see in the light it just hurts their eyes, whereas I cannot see in the light at all.." they tilted their head as they grew more and more confused "What?.." so I continued to explain "You see, there was an... event.. that happened and it caused me to be this way, I cannot change what has been done so I deal with it... I'm merely just a shadow created from darkness from another shadow anyways.." They were still confused and I could see it in the way they stood, the way their eyes stared at me. "...My name's Sb.." they then seemed to understand what I said "Oh! new friend! ..Sundrop be quiet, I'm trying to sleep!... oh, sorry!" I began to blindly walk off but then I felt a hand grab my shoulder so I looked back. "Sorry! we can't let you walk off alone, you could get lost or injured friend!" the happier voice said, so I let them walk with me. They guided me to a dark place within the building, the parts & services room located behind the main stage they didn't perform on.

I guess I'm stuck here with them then.. great..
