Sb, The Dark Rabbit [DISCONTINUED!]

- Chapter 8, The Endoskeletons -

- Sb's perspective -

I began walking with Eclipse towards where the vents were, luckily for us the nearest dark spot was right where we needed to be. Eclipse went first, taking a ladder to the upper vents in the giant, maze-like vent system. "Oh, and warning! ..there's endoskeletons in these vents.. but! they shouldn't attack if you're with us, right Moondrop? ..yeah, I uh-.. nevermind, but they won't attack if you're with us.. specifically me.. so! stick close to us okay friend?" they said as I followed them quiet as the darkness itself. "..Understood.." I replied, the Sundrop side of Eclipse seemed to be a bit scared as they were making whining noises like a lost puppy. "Quit your whining Sunshine, it's annoying.. s-sorry! just a little scared! it's d-dark.." Eclipse said as they spoke to themselves once more. We took several turns as we crawled around in the dark vents, it was nearly dark enough for me to see with perfect vision in most places, but my vision's still a little blurry as there's a couple of lights in the vents.

I looked to the left down one of the separate pathways coming off the one we were in and I saw something move in the distance. It stopped moving when I looked at it but then when I continued ahead to follow Eclipse I heard it following me. "There's an endoskeleton following me.." I said, Eclipse just shrugged and continued forward through the upper vents, if there was nothing strange happening here we had planned to go to the lower vents to check them too. We came across a small room on the end of our journey in the upper vents, nothing out of the ordinary was happening there according to Eclipse so we were going to check the lower vents. There was another room but we didn't go in there, Eclipse says it's too saddening in there but the room we're in had a small ladder going up and several trapdoors making up the floor. Eclipse and I headed down through the trapdoors and encountered several endoskeletons down in the lower vents exit leading to the room we're in. Eclipse spoke to them and then we both looked away, after we looked away the endoskeletons had moved.. they seem to like to move when nobody's looking.
