part twenty one: just pizza

Hyunjin invited me to go to the mall earlier this morning, unfortunately since I had nothing better to do I decided to go with him, so here I am walking with Hyunjin and his two friends Yeosang and Younghoon.

I struggle to keep up with them as they are walking about 5x my normal walking speed. Although I'm in a mall full of people I feel like the only one here.

All of a sudden I feel Hyunjin start shoving me as he says "Niki, go by Sunoo I'm sure that's the only reason why you came with us anyway."

Puzzled, I start walking over there before he can shove me again. I pull up a chair and sit there uncomfortable as Jake says "Niki! Hey.." I know he's just trying to lighten the mood so I just greet him with a soft hi.

I glance over at Sunoo to see him sitting there uncomfortably not like his usual upbeat cheerful self.

All of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I see his head slam on the table and quickly rush over to him.

I kneel beside him and softly shake him but then begin to shake him harder when he doesn't move.

"What happened?" I ask worried.

I look at the three who look lost of words.

"Did he drink water today, has he been feeling like this all day?!" I shout unintentionally.

"Sunoo.. Sunoo, wake up!" I say frantically repeating myself over and over.

"Let's bring him home or to a hospital or something." Sunghoon says.

"I'll get him." I say while lifting him over my shoulder.

I ignore the looks of concern from people as I'm running out the mall. I don't slow down until I realize I don't know who's car he arrived in.

I stop and look behind me to see Jake, Sunghoon and Yuna frantically running far back from we're I am.

Jake finally catches up to me with the others behind.

"Jeez, no need to run so fast." Jake says out of breath.

I completely ignore what he says.

"Whose car did you get here in?" I ask, impatiently waiting for a response.

"Mine." Sunghoon says while pointing at a white car in the distance.

I run quickly to the car without saying anything else.

Once I get there I keep tugging on the handles waiting for Sunghoon to unlock the car.

I hear the beeps indicating that the car is open and pull open the door and place Sunoo as gently as I can.

Yuna gets in the car, looks at Sunoo and then looks at me with anger.

"You're Niki right." She says.

"Yeah." I think back to when she first talked to me when I was going to the principals office. Maybe she just has a very bad memory.

"Do you know how much stress you put him through?" She says angrily. I assume she's talking about Sunoo.

"No.." I say confused.

"You seriously have no trust in him, maybe if you actually talked to him you would no the real reason Seungmin was sitting by him."

Seungmin.. I think back to brunette boy sitting across from Sunoo.

"Yuna, calm down." Sunghoon says, trying to make the situation better.

"Shut up." She quickly responds.
