I sit there with my head on his shoulder while my heart beats faster than it should.
"I love you too." He says.
I can't help but stare at him like a maniac, when he looks back at me I feel my cheeks burning up.
He then grabs my face and kisses me.
My eyes widen.
"Niki! What if someone saw!" I say worried.
Obviously the whole school knows me as 'the gay kid' but Niki, he's the popular kid that everyone loves. As much as I would love to yell out to the world that I'm dating him I have to respect his boundaries.
He gives me a reassuring smile.
"It'll be fine, nobody saw us." He says while patting my head.
I still can't help but feel nervous, I wouldn't want Niki to go through what I did.
Flashback 'A year ago':
As I'm walking to my locker I see one of my best friends and give him a friendly wave, but he just looks at me with an unfamiliar look which makes me worried.
"Hey." I say as I walk up to him.
"Look, Sunoo I'm gonna make this short. I heard your gay now or whatever and I don't want you having a crush on me or some shit so I'd feel more comfortable if we stopped being friends." He says and walks away.
I can't help but stand there unsure of what just happened and rush to the bathroom.
'Some friend' I think to myself as I'm sitting alone in some random stall.
I hear a few people start to walk in and I try and leave quickly but I hear my name mentioned and quickly stay put.
"You hear about Sunoo?" Someone says.
"No?" Another says in confusion.
"I heard he's a fag now." The first guy says while laughing.
"Really? I mean nobody ever liked him anyway." The second guy says as they leave.
I can't help but feel tears rush into my eyes and end up spending the rest of the day in the bathroom silently crying.
Now:
I feel taps on my shoulder and look up at Niki and see a worried look in his eyes.
"Is everything okay?" He asks.
"Hm? Yeah, Yeah! Everything's okay!" I say while smiling, not realizing my expression must've changed.
"Okay." He says still sounding a little worried.

"Finally home!" I say to myself in relief.
"Hey Sunoo?" Jungwon calls out.
"WHAT!" I yell.
"Come here!" He yells to me.
I let out an annoyed sigh.
"K coming!" I say while running up the stairs.
When I enter the room he looks up at me with a concerned look.
"What?" I ask, since it's the only normal thing someone does in these situations.
"What we're you doing in the library today?" He asks.
