Once I hear him say that I immediately feel my face get hot and know it's probably bright red.
I try my best to hide my face, I don't want Niki seeing that he got me flustered.
I wasn't sure what to say next.
What did he mean by "I've always wanted to experience one with you."
How could he always want to when he didn't even know I existed 3 months ago.
"Well now we both got to experience one with each other." I say trying to avoid the awkward silence seconds before.
"Yeah." He says while smiling.
I stare at the snow falling by the light post ahead, and observe it for a while.
I see Niki shift his head over by a parking lot in the distance.
"I have an idea." He says excitedly.
"Hmm?" I say while looking at him, and waiting for him to tell me what his idea is.
"Come on." He says while grabbing my arm and pulling me alongside him.
"Where?" I ask.
"You'll see." He says.
He starts to pick up his pace and runs back towards his car.
Since I was used to walking I almost tripped at the impact of him running.
"Hold on!" I yell out.
He just keeps running with me.
We get closer and closer to his car until we're a few inches away from it.
"Okay hop in." He says.
I laugh.
"Hop in." I repeat making fun of him.
"What?" He says confused.
"Just doesn't seem like something you would say." I say while getting into the passenger seat of his car.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He yells out to me before I can close the door.
I smile to myself.
He gets in the car quickly.
"Can you remember how to get back here?" He says.
"I dunno, why?" I ask
"We're going back here." He says while focusing on the road.
"It's 2AM Niki." I say slightly shocked myself.
"You can sleep, just pull your chair back." He says.
"Then I won't be awake for whatever you have planned." I say staring at the neon numbers of the clock on the car screen.
"That's true." He says.
I stare outside the window watching the snow in the wind. I want this time to be good but all I can think about is Heeseung.
I think about how he won't stop bothering me about Niki. I'm also afraid I might lose him because Heeseung will say something.
I keep thinking and thinking about what he told me earlier this morning about how he would tell Niki I liked him and begin to worry.
We eventually arrive at a grocery store and I stare at Niki, confused.
"Why are we here?" I say.
"Be patient, you'll see." He says while smiling.
"Do you want to come inside with me?" He asks.
"No, I'm okay." I say.
He opens the door and almost starts to get out.
