A/n: hey everyone. I know it's been a while but I've sorta lost interest in the DSMP but because I'm nice I'm going to finish this story but skip to the end. I'm sorry this book won't be as good as I wanted but I hope you have enjoyed all the same.

4 months later

Y/n had been in hiding now for weeks, No one, not even Wilbur knew where she was. She had blocked all contact with everyone since the election failure. Everyone had missed her, but No one as much as Will. Each night he was reminded of how she would sleep in his house in her own little corner. The light would shine so delicately on her face, hair forming soft waves on her head.

He had only realised after she had left that he loved her. He loved her so much, more than anyone in the world. She made him feel safe and happy and... alive. She was the light in his life and now she was gone. He would still remember days when the two would laugh and lay on the grass and he would play with her hair. He would remember the days where it all got too much for her and she would cry into his chest whist he held her tightly, as if he were yo let go and she would leave for ever.

The days after the election were a haze a in his memory. He remembers the guilt he felt, needing to leave everything behind. He felt the betrayal of being left alone. Most of all he felt the loneliness. It was only the day after the election when she left. The night before he had wrapped himself up in his own problems and not spoken to her. He had forgotten that this was her home too, and now she would have to leave. He didn't realise how much she was hurting, and instead of comforting her he shut her down.

Then the next morning she was gone. Tired of the fighting. Tired if losing everything that she thought they had won. Tired of the war.

Wilbur regretted every day after that, and would often blame himself for everything. He wanted her. He needed her back in his life.
Although he was hurting so very much every day, he acted strong, especially around Tommy. He was his best friend and little brother figure, and he cared dealt about him. Tommy was probably the reason that Wilbur hadnt ended it all months before. He knew that Will was hurting when Y/n left, and how he loved her so much and wanted her back. It was hard to see him so broken, but acting so strong.

Without realising, Wilbur caught himself lost in his thought again. He could hear the sound of Tommys voice over the speaker as he stood on top of the stage. They had won the battle, but not what they had been fighting for. L'manburg wasn't a separate country. It want a safe place where people could go and know that there was peace. It wasn't a place where everyone was equal.

Everything Wilbur had fought for was gone. Now he watched as Tommy spoke out to the rest of the members. He looked proud and happy, and suddenly shifter his gaze to Wilbur. He invited him on stage. Wilbur didn't even put any effort into his speech. He wasn't thinking about that. He kept unconsciously scanning the crowd, just in case she was there. When he realised she wasn't, the tears started to well up. He quickly called apon Tubbo. The democracy was going to end. Everything he fought for was finished.

Walking off the stage, he bumped into Tommy. He knew that Wilbur want Ok, and smiled.

"I'll be back in a minute, Ok?" Wilbur said quietly. Tommy just nodded and locked back to he friend on the stage.

Wilbur walked on. As he walked, all he could see where pictures of her. When she smiled, and her eyes would light up. Or when she would cry and he protective side would take over him and all he could do was try to help. Tears started to fall down his face and he quickened his pace yo a jog. He started to speak to himself, saying things like oh I wonder if it will still work.
